  • Patent number: 5065179
Abstract: A microfilm reader-printer having a reader mode for projecting an image of a microfilm onto a screen and a printer mode for printing the image on a copy paper. The screen is provided with indexes indicative of a plurality of sizes of a copy paper. For a copy paper of a size larger than a certain size, the index indicates a smaller size than the size of the copy paper. A lens of variable magnification type is used so that the magnification of the projection lens for the reader mode is made smaller than the magnification for printer mode when a copy paper of a size larger than the certain size is selected. The magnifications for the reader mode and printer mode are made equal to each other when a copy paper of a size smaller than or equal to the certain size is selected.

  • Patent number: 5051774
Abstract: A microfilm camera for photographing a plurality of originals on a microfilm is disclosed. The improved microfilm camera is provided with a display lamp for indicating that an original is left in a non-photographed state and a buzzer for issuing an alarm on that occasion. If the original non-photographed is left as it is, the display lamp turns on and the buzzer sounds. Accordingly, the original to be photographed is not left in the non-photographed state for a long period.

  • Patent number: 5010362
Abstract: An image projecting system is disclosed which is provided with a carrier part disposed in an optical path between a light source and an image receiver such as, for example, a screen and a sensitive medium and adapted to be loaded with a microfilm. Inside the image projecting system, masking members for adjusting the range of the optical path are fitted. These masking members rotate around the optical axis of the optical path. Even when an image happens to be photographed aslant in the microfilm, only a stated area of the image is projected on the image receiver.

  • Patent number: 4873552
Abstract: A reader-printer which can print a particular image area, which is selected from a whole image projected on a screen, in a desired position on copying paper. The image area which has been selected for hard-copying from the whole image on a screen is shifted to a desired position with a desired magnification rate, permitting the printing of only the selected and shifted image in a desired size on copying paper. The reader-printer is provided with an image area specifying portion which has functions of specifying a first area to be printed on paper and specifying a second area differnt from the first area. This image area specifying portion is constituted by a transparent contact-matrix sheet which is bonded on the screen, permitting the operator to specify the first and second areas while viewing a picture image projected on the screen.

  • Patent number: 4857966
Abstract: Disclosed is a reader printer having an image rotation prism for adapting the direction of a microfilm image to suitable direction. The reader-printer has an image direction detecting means for forming the microfilm image successfully onto a copy paper without consideration of the direction of the image. The reader-printer also has a prism orientation detecting means for automatically eliminating difference between a location of the image and a location of the fed paper.

  • Patent number: 4708464
Abstract: Disclosed is a reader-printer being capable of erasing a frame surrounding margin of a microfilm and unnecessary image portion in the frame. The reader-printer comprises first flap member, second flap member which are disposed adjacent to a slit and movable in and out of a light path directing toward a photosensitive drum and a lamp to illuminate those flap members when they are moved into the light path. The first flap member is movable in the longitudinal direction along the slit for varying a shading area.
