Abstract: This invention aims to provide a portable and retractable book-reading stand which is easily carried, does not require spacious installing space, and is providable at low cost.This invention is characterized in having a case having a bottom plate and a covering body rotatably connected to the bottom plate which holds the bottom plate at a specified inclined angle by rotating the covering body, and a supporting assembly for holding a document which is expandable along the inclined bottom plate in expanded condition, and retractable up to the size being housed in the case in retracted position, and a clip installed on the upper portion of the supporting assembly.
