  • Patent number: 11434964
Abstract: This brake lining includes: a plurality of friction members which are arranged to be spaced from each other, each of the friction members having a front surface that is to face a sliding surface of a brake disk; a back board fastened to a back surface of each of the friction members; a base plate that supports each of the friction members at a region including a center portion of each friction member; and an elastic member disposed between the base plate and the back board, on a back surface side of each friction member. Two friction members that are adjacent to each other are taken as a pair, and the back board is fastened to each of the pairs of friction members. In each pair of friction members, the two friction members are arranged along the circumferential direction of the brake disk.

  • Publication number: 20200124122
Abstract: A brake lining is provided that is to be pressed against a sliding surface of a brake disk fastened to a wheel or an axle of a railway vehicle. The brake lining includes: a plurality of friction members arranged to be spaced from each other, each of the friction members having a front surface that is to face the sliding surface; a back board fastened to a back surface of each of the friction members; and a base plate supporting each friction member at a region including a center portion of the respective friction members. Two friction members are taken as a pair, and the back board that is fastened to the pair of friction members is a one-piece member, and a width of the back board at a space between the friction members of the pair of friction members is greater than a width of the friction member.

  • Publication number: 20190078629
Abstract: A disclosed brake lining includes first and second friction member blocks, fastening members, spring members disposed in the fastening members, and a base plate. Each of the first friction member blocks including friction members is elastically fastened to the base plate by two of the fastening members that pass through the spring member and a first back plate. The two of the fastening members are disposed along a circumference of a circle centered around an axle. Each of the second friction member blocks including friction members is elastically fastened to the base plate by three of the fastening members that pass through the spring member and a second back plate. Two of the fastening members lying on opposite ends of each of the second friction member blocks are disposed along a circumference of a circle around the axle.

  • Publication number: 20090078377
Abstract: A shutter device includes a pair of support frames spaced in parallel with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a shutter arranged between the support frames. The support frames support both the right and the left shutter flanks of the shutter so as to allow the shutter to reciprocate along a longitudinal direction of the support frames. A weatherstrip is inserted between a side in each flank of the shutter and an opposing face of corresponding one of the support frames facing the side. The weatherstrip includes a long base material fixed to the support frame, a plurality of threads raised on the base material, and film member provided on the base material. The film member has a higher rigidity than the treads, and the height of the film member in a direction towards the opposing face of the support frame is lower than that of the treads.

  • Publication number: 20060049559
Abstract: A cushioning member is located between each support frame and the corresponding side of the shutter. The cushioning member includes a pair of belt-shaped base members and pile yarns bridging between the base members. Some of the pile yarns are cut at intermediate portion between the base members, which forms opposing first and second cut pile yarns with a cut in between. One of the base members is attached to each support frame, and the other base member contacts the shutter. The cut permits the cushioning member to flexibly respond to movements of the shutter and satisfactorily exerts a cushioning function to suppress swaying of the shutter.
