Abstract: An example computer of an information processing apparatus that reproduces music composed of one or more tracks is caused to function as: a reproduction section configured to reproduce the music; a meter change section configured to change the meter for reproduction of the music, while the reproduction section is reproducing the music; and a determination section configured to, based on the meter that has been changed, repeatedly determine whether or not to cause the reproduction section to reproduce the next beat supposed to be reproduced in a bar of the music that is currently being reproduced. The reproduction section reproduces the music, based on the result of the determination by the determination section.

Abstract: An input device includes a movement and orientation sensor for detecting one of a movement or an orientation of the input device itself. Firstly, information about one of the movement or the orientation of the input device having been detected by this movement and orientation sensor is obtained. Next, a difference between the orientation of the input device having been obtained, and a predetermined reference orientation is calculated. A predetermined sound is produced based on the difference in orientation, thereby executing music performance.

Abstract: A method for producing a molten iron in a blast furnace comprises the steps of: preparing an optical fiber covered with a metallic tube; measuring a temperature of the molten iron flow discharged from a tap hole of the blast furnace by means of making use of a metallic tube covered by the optical fiber to obtain an information of the temperature of the molten iron; and controlling a heat conditions of the blast furnace, based on the obtained information of the temperature of the molten iron. Controlling a heat conditions is achieved by using a heat conditions estimation model, and by inferring a level and a transition of the heat conditions in the furnace.
