    Abstract: The porous metal foil of the present invention include a two-dimensional network structure composed of a metal fiber. This porous metal foil has a first side having a higher glossiness, and a second side having a lower glossiness located on the opposite side of the first side. The ratio of glossiness GS of the first side to glossiness GM of the second side, GS/GM, as measured at incident and reflection angles of 60 degrees in accordance with JIS Z 8741 (1997) is from 1 to 15. The present invention provides a highly useful porous metal foil which has a reduced difference in properties between both sides, in addition to the superior properties attributable to a porous metal foil, in a highly productive and cost effective manner that is suited for continuous production.

The clutch mechanism is provided in an intermediate position of the power transmission path from the elastic member to the rotating shaft and configured to interrupt the power transmission from the pulley to the rotating shaft when a rotation speed of the pulley lowers below a rotation speed of the rotating shaft by a predetermined value or greater.

The load is calculated on the basis of a target load and a relationship between the current in the MR-fluid load generating unit and the load generated by the MR-fluid load generating unit. The control device produces the game screen in correspondence with the trainee's training motion detected by a displacement detection sensor, and makes the display unit display the game screen, while controlling the load in the training machine.

Opposed pairs of negative electrodes (3c) and positive electrodes (3a) are provided in an electroplating copper solution (2), and a copper plate (4) is arranged between the pair of negative electrodes (3c). An anodic treatment for generating copper fine particles on both surfaces of the copper plate (4) is carried out by performing an electrolytic process for three to ten minutes with the copper plate (4) as a positive electrode between the negative electrodes (3c).

    Abstract: A ball joint and production method thereof that ensure that grease retainers are provided on the entire contact surface of a resin sheet between an outer surface of a round head of a ball stud and the contact surface to properly maintain lubrication between the round head and the resin sheet. Graphite particles are dispersed over an inner surface of the resin sheet, and the resin sheet and the round head of the ball stud are inserted in a housing. An open end portion of a housing body is swaged to be reduced in diameter. The graphite particles are pressed against the inner surface of the resin sheet, whereby portions of the inner surface of the resin sheet against which the graphite particles abut are depressed. Thus, gaps are formed around the respective graphite particles. Grease enters the gaps, which each function as a grease retainer.
