Abstract: An apparatus for cooling overheated gas generated from a diesel particulate filter which is connected between a diesel engine and an exhaust pipe of the diesel engine is disclosed. The apparatus includes a tail pipe for discharging outwardly the overheated gas discharged from the diesel particulate filter, a cooling fan, provided at one side of an engine room, for generating an air stream by sucking ambient air, and a diffuser enclosing an outer circumference of the tail pipe in such a way a space is formed between the diffuser and the tail pipe to prevent the diffuser from directly contacting the tail pipe. The engine room is provided with a through-hole penetrating one side of the engine room, and the tail pipe has one end connected to the diesel particulate filter, and the other end extended outwardly from the engine room through the through-hole.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling engine revolutions for an excavator is provided, which can set the excavator not to perform a normal operation so as to induce an operator to check an air cleaner by reducing a flow rate of hydraulic fluid discharged from a hydraulic pump through lowering of the engine revolutions if an operator disregards a warning signal for requiring the operator to check an engine intake system and continues the excavator work even when a predetermined time elapses after transfer of the warning signal or the warning signal is transferred over a predetermined number of times.

Abstract: A rain hat for heavy construction equipment is disclosed, which comprises a plate which corresponds to a shape of an outlet of the exhaust tube; a connection part which is formed at one end of the plate and is extended in a downward direction; and an elastic plate of which one end is connected with the connection part, and the other end is engaged with the exhaust tube, said elastic plate having a certain length, whereby the outlet of the exhaust tube, which is closed by means of the plate, opens as a discharge pressure overcomes an elastic force of the elastic plate when exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust tube.
