  • Patent number: 5546816
Abstract: A tool for the controlled tightening of bolts or other threaded objects comprises an arrangement that indicates when the turning moment attains a certain indication moment that is preset by displacing one of the ends of a spring (21), said end being displaced by rotating a screw (13) connected to the grip of the tool. The indication moment can be read off on a scale (31) on the tool's shaft (24), relative to a movable index (33) situated on a sleeve (30) which is actuated in relation to the grip by a thread (12) with a larger pitch than that of thread of the screw (13). The rotation of the grip (11) can be locked relative to the shaft (24) by a detachable handle (10).

  • Patent number: 5490620
Abstract: A child-supporting harness includes two mutually connected looped straps which extend around both shoulder regions of the wearer, and a child-supporting flap. The flap is connected to the straps at the top and at the bottom region of its two sides, so as to form a child-carrying pouch. The connections between the straps and the upper part of the flap at both sides thereof can be released completely, so as to allow the whole of the flap to be dropped down and to be supported by its bottom connections with the straps. The bottom of the flap is fastened to the strap by means of releasable fasteners. The side edges of the flap are free.

  • Patent number: 5435190
Abstract: A tool is provided for the exertion of a turning moment, including an indication as to whether the turning moment exceeds a set value, in which a form piece (4) with parallel rectangular surfaces turns when the turning moment attains the set value and pushes a press bolt (3) situated in the shaft (2) and a indication sleeve (6) situated outside the shaft, said indication sleeve being connected with the press bolt, towards the grip (11) so that a previously hidden part of the indication sleeve (6) with a contrasting color becomes visible.

  • Patent number: 5230262
Abstract: A ratchet wrench comprises a handle (2) in which a ratchet spring (1) extends axially between the wrench head at one end of the handle and a gripping sleeve (4) at the other end thereof. The gripping sleeve carries a rotatable or twistable resetting sleeve (3) by means of which the ratchet spring can be adjusted between two predetermined positions so as to activate a ratchet device mounted in the wrench head. The ratchet spring has a hairpin-like bend whose one leg (22) engages the resetting sleeve while the other leg (21) thereof can be snapped around a shoulder (8) located on the bottom of 15 an operating chamber (7) located within the gripping sleeve. The axial extension of the other leg finds correspondence in the crank (11) formed by the ratchet spring in the transition to the wrench head. The crank engages in and adjusts the ratchet device, thereby enabling the direction in which the ratchet wrench can return freely to be reversed.

  • Patent number: 5089738
Abstract: A battery-driven handtool is configured with a holder (4) for housing the current source, this housing being detachably connected to the handgrip (1) of the tool. The holder is journalled for asymmetric rotation (around A) on the free end of the handgrip, so as to enable the outer dimensions of the tool to be minimized, by causing the holder to take at least two mutually opposing positions when the working space is confined, thereby also enabling the center of gravity point (TP) of the tool to be changed.

  • Patent number: 4347401
Abstract: A gas-filled cable having low heat emission and low power loss and being used for the transmission of high-voltage electric current. The cable includes one or more conductors which are axially spaced in position relative to each other by means of supporting insulators inside an enclosing conduit which is filled with an insulating gaseous medium. In such a cable the conduit comprises on one hand a cylindrical metal sheath of plain or low-alloy merchant steel having a carbon content of less than 0.6% and on the other hand a metal shield of non-magnetic material fixed inside the sheath and having a low specific electrical resistivity. The metal shield has a plurality of openings therethrough spaced along its length for forming particle traps.
