  • Patent number: 10337845
Abstract: A dividable parachute grenade is provided including a grenade casing, a nose cone, a detonating fuse, a dividing charge, a payload, a parachute device, a grenade bottom, and a supporting device, wherein the supporting device is annular and includes pretensioned sector elements fixed to a fixing ring in the recess on the inner side of the grenade casing, the sector elements are pretensioned with a tension ring arranged around the annular supporting device via recessed grooves in the sector elements, whereof the supporting device is arranged extensibly in the radial direction in a recess on the inner side of the grenade casing behind the payload and supports the payload in the extended position during the acceleration phase of the grenade, and stays in the grenade after the separation of the payload from the grenade.

  • Patent number: 9275766
Abstract: Apparatus for longitudinally segmenting a cruciform shaped irradiated boiling water reactor control rod having four elongated blades radially extending from a central spline, into four flat panels. The apparatus employs a double bladed band saw with the band saw blades orthogonally oriented at two different elevations and having one side of each band saw blade crossing over the center of the spline of the control rod in between the control rod blades.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20110280910
Abstract: The present invention relates to a surface exposed protein, which can be detected in Moraxella catarrhalis, having an amino acid sequence as described in SEQ ID NO: 1, an apparent molecular weight of 200 kDa and a capacity of selectively binding membrane bound or soluble IgD, to an immunogenic or IgD-binding fragment of said surface exposed protein, and to an immunogenic and adhesive fragment of said surface exposed protein. DNA segments, vaccines, plasmids and phages, non human hosts, recombinant DNA molecules and plants, fusion proteins and polypeptides and fusion products are also described. A method of detecting IgD, a method of separating IgD, a method of isolation of a surface exposed protein of Moraxella catarrhalis and a method for treatment of an autoimmune disease are also disclosed.
