  • Patent number: 7416018
Abstract: The present invention relates to arrangement for a plate heat exchanger for connection to a system, of which the plate heat exchanger is designed to form part. The plate heat exchanger is of conventional construction with plates (2) parallel to one another, which constitute a package (1) and between them define flow channels. The outermost plates (2a, 2b) of the package (1) are at each short end partially covered by plate elements (6a, 6b), which essentially lie within the width of the package (1), of which the plate element (6a) situated nearest the system has throughholes (7) for assembly elements, which can be inserted into the holes (7) from above, since he pates (2) are formed with recesses (8). At each short end there are also clamping elements which effectively act between the plate elements (6a, 6b) and are designed to produce a symmetrical clamping force and to hold the package (1) together.

  • Publication number: 20070007502
Abstract: The invention refers to an end gating terminal for a wire rope safety barrier of the type comprising a number of spaced apart posts (2,2a), and a number of wire ropes (3) positioned at mutually equal distances one above the other in fittings in the posts, and wherein at the end gating terminal the wire ropes are lead down to and attached to ground anchor (6), and where a last full height post (2a) is positioned at the point where the wire ropes (3) begin to be inclined down towards the ground anchor (6), wherein between the said last full height post (2a) and the ground anchor (6) are provided a number of consecutively shorter posts (2b), in which the wire ropes (3) are held at the same mutual distance as in the portion of the wire rope safety barrier before the inclined portion of the wire ropes, and where the wire ropes (3) from one of the shorter posts (2c) are spread out and being rigidly connected to the ground anchor (6).

  • Publication number: 20020014620
Abstract: A side guard fence comprises a plurality of posts arranged at a mutual distance along the edge of a carriage way and being substantially vertically anchored. The fence further comprises substantially horizontal, longitudinal fence members that are attached to the posts and are arranged at mutually spaced apart distances from each other in the vertical direction. The posts are positioned in the slope outside the carriage way or supporting reserve. In some arrangements, the horizontal fence members are anchored to the post by retaining members that are adapted to retain the horizontal fence members during forces caused by collision in a longitudinal direction of the fence members and to release the horizontal fence members when acted upon by forces generated by collisions against a post to which the horizontal fence members are attached. A method of forming a side guard fence is also disclosed.
