  • Patent number: 9277436
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to a method in a network node, a method in user equipment, a network node and user equipment in a wireless communications network. More particularly, there is provided methods and platforms for network based control of report messages comprising logged measurements in a wireless communications network. In accordance with some example embodiments, a UE (30) that has stored logged data i.e. logged measurements that are bigger than a single transmission packet, i.e. report message, segments the logged measurements and sends only a portion of the logged measurements that fits into a single report message. The UE (30) also indicates to a network node (28) that additional logged measurements exist at the UE buffer (44).

  • Patent number: 9248617
Abstract: A pipe end is expanded by an expander tool (1) comprising a plurality of jaws (10), which are radially movable in relation to a center axis between a retracted position and expanded position. The jaws (10) when retracted are intended to be inserted into the pipe end. The jaws (10) have outer jaw surfaces which are intended for engagement with the inner surface of the pipe end and which lie adjacent to one another in the retracted position of the jaws (10). The tool (1) further comprises a piston (2) or a cone with a tapered end for moving the jaws (10) between said positions and means moving the piston (2) or the cone in a reciprocating manner in the axial direction for expanding the pipe end. The tool (1) further comprises support structures whereby the jaws (10) are supported in a circumferential direction in the expanded position. A method for expanding a pipe using such a tool is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20150293776
Abstract: A data processing system includes one or more processors that each execute one or more operating systems. Each operating system includes one or more applications. An accelerator provides a shared resource for a plurality of the applications and has one or more input/output interfaces for the submission of tasks to the accelerator from an application. A hypervisor manages the allocation of the input/output interfaces to the one or more operating systems and a hypervisor interface enables communication between the hypervisor and the accelerator. The system is capable of being configured such that an operating system that has been allocated an input/output interface is capable of communicating with the accelerator via the input/output interface independently of the hypervisor. A memory management unit is capable of providing an isolated region of a memory for use by the operating system whilst the operating system retains its allocated input/output interface.

  • Publication number: 20150180614
Abstract: A method for use in a cellular access system is disclosed. The system includes a first transceiver and a second transceiver, wherein the first transceiver sends and receives data blocks to and from the second transceiver, and the first transceiver is considered a reporting party with respect to the second transceiver. The method involves sending a transmission comprising a report to the second transceiver, said report comprising information on whether or not data blocks have been received successfully, wherein said report is sent together with data to the second transceiver. The contents of the report are decided using a priority rule according to which an oldest data block which has been detected as received in error, and whose status has not been reported since the error was detected, is given priority.

  • Patent number: 9025460
Abstract: According to a method for reducing a risk of transmission stalling between a transmitting unit and a receiving unit, data blocks are transmitted to the receiving unit from the transmitting unit. Each data block includes a block sequence number (BSN). The transmitted data blocks are stored in a transmission buffer. A flow of retransmission of transmitted data blocks is controlled with a transmission buffer window comprising an acknowledge state variable (ASV) that contains the BSN value of the oldest data block that has not been positively acknowledged by its peer. If a BSN corresponding to the ASV is acknowledged in a first type of acknowledgment message, a status of the BSN is set as tentative acknowledged. If the block sequence number is acknowledged in a second type of acknowledgement message, the status of the BSN is set as acknowledged, and the transmission buffer window is advanced to the ASV.
