Publication number: 20240104217Abstract: A software package, a gateway for transmitting the same, and a software update method using the same are provided. A software package includes a binary file, a configuration file, and a hash file. The binary file includes read-only memory (ROM) data of a target controller. A management server generates the configuration file by combining a hash value obtained by hashing the binary file with meta information indicating an update procedure between a gateway and the target controller. The management server generates the hash file by hashing the configuration file. The gateway receives the software package and extract the binary file and the configuration file. The gateway transmits the binary file to the target controller according to the update procedure indicated by the meta information.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Yoon Sik Jung, Myeong Gyu Jeong, Jin Ah Kim, Hak Jun Kim, Min Gi Kim, Hyeok Sang Jeong, Young Jee Yang

Patent number: 8654055Abstract: A gate driving circuit includes a first shift register and a second shift register for driving odd gate lines. The first shift register includes a first plurality of cascade-connected stages that sequentially output a plurality of first gate signals. A first stage of the first shift register receives a first vertical start signal. The second shift register includes a second plurality of cascade-connected stages to sequentially output a plurality of second gate signals. The first stage of the second shift register receives an output signal of the first stage of the first shift register as its vertical start signal. A data charging rate may be improved by ensuring the timing margin of each gate signal, so that the driving reliability of the gate driving circuit may be improved.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2009Date of Patent: February 18, 2014Assignee: Samsung Display Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hak-Gyu Kim, Young-Joo Park, Ji-Suk Lim

Patent number: 8035661Abstract: The driving apparatus of a display device calculates a slope using a minimum gray, a maximum gray, a gray average of frame data in a current frame, and a gray average of frame data in a previous frame, and corrects and outputs the input frame data according to the slope, using frame data of one frame. As a result, a gray range of the input image signal can be extended, thereby improving visibility. Further, in a case of a motion picture, even when a difference of a gray range of images of adjacent frames is large, an original image is not distorted due to extension of a gray range. Also, even when noise is included in the input image signal, a gray range can be extended after removing the noise.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2007Date of Patent: October 11, 2011Assignees: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Postech Academy-Industry FoundationInventors: Il-Pyung Lee, Cheol-Woo Park, Jae-Byung Park, Hak-Gyu Kim, Min-Gu Lee, Sung-Gu Lee, Ung-Jin Jang
