    Abstract: A braking system for waterborne propeller driven vessel which, upon activating a brake pedal or similar actuation device causes the vessel to almost immediately stop its forward movement. The system initiates a burst of highly amplified horsepower and torque, created by a controlled pulse of electrical power released from a bank of fully charged ultracapacitors. This pulse of electrical power is sent directly to AC induction-driven motors, causing oversized propellers to immediately rotate astern, thereby generating a reverse thrust in opposition to the vessel's forward movement sufficient to stop the vessel. The horsepower and torque produced by the braking system and operation of the present invention will also cause the oversize propellers to transmit this tremendous power into the water, without cavitation, to assist in stopping vessel movement.

    Abstract: A remote controlled firearm safety system is provided for a “Glock” type handgun having a slide member, moveable over and along a muzzle section. The recoil spring guide assembly of the weapon, installed in the muzzle section, has a flange member with a plurality of socket openings. Each socket opening contains a locking pin which is moveable between a stored position within the socket openings and an extended position. When the locking pins are extended out of the socket openings, they extend partially into the muzzle section. This prevents the slide member from being cocked and the weapon from being fired. The movement of the locking pins is controlled by a signal receiving device within the recoil spring guide assembly. Upon receipt of a remote signal by the receiving device, a motor drive and a mechanical linkage are actuated to move the locking pins out of the socket openings.

    Abstract: A camera integrated firearm system replaces the original recoil spring and guide assembly of a firearm with a casing which includes a camera, a camera actuating module which turns the camera on when the orientation of the handgun barrel is changed, a gunshot impact sensing and signal transmitting module, an image memory module, and output data ports. The casing is also equipped with a unique power-data port integrated into the lens unit of the camera. When the weapon is drawn, the camera is turned on to record events, including the discharge of the weapon. The camera, utilizing ambient light plus the light generated by muzzle flash, i.e. the jet of fire exiting the barrel at the instant the bullet exits the weapon, takes and saves, in memory, a closely spaced sequential stream of digital photographs or, alternatively, video recordings. Using the data outputs, the images can then be downloaded for viewing.
