    Abstract: A device and process for maintaining a bottle of wine at substantially a predetermined temperature while the wine is being served is disclosed. The device is portable and is capable of keeping the bottle of wine at substantially a predetermined temperature. The process includes maintaining a heat conduction member of the device at the predetermined temperature; the bottle is kept in heat transfer relationship with the heat conduction means when the wine is not being served, and the bottle is removed from the heat conduction means when the wine is served.
