  • Patent number: 6602813
Abstract: An electrostatic removing member includes a semiconductive zirconia sintered body having a volume specific resistance value from 105 to 109&OHgr;·cm. Preferably, the semiconductive zirconia sintered body includes 60 to 90 weight % of ZrO2, a stabilizing agent, and 10 to 40 weight % of one or more of oxides of Fe, Co, Ni and Cr. In one embodiment, the semiconductive zirconia sintering body at least partially forms a gripper.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 10, 2001
Date of Patent: August 5, 2003
    Assignee: Kyocera Corporation
Inventors: Mikaki Shinji, Hamashima Hiroshi, Iwasaki Koichi, Iwamoto Kuniharu, Nakahara Masahiro, Okumura Masahiro, Hino Shouji, Nabeshima Yutaka
  • Publication number: 20020010069
Abstract: The invention provides a semiconductive zirconia sintering body able to be manufactured simply and cheaply and escape static electricity at suitable speed without greatly reducing mechanical characteristics of zirconia.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 10, 2001
    Publication date: January 24, 2002

  • Patent number: 6274524
Abstract: The invention provides a semiconductive zirconia sintering body able to be manufactured simply and cheaply and escape static electricity at suitable speed without greatly reducing mechanical characteristics of zirconia. 10 to 40 weight % of one kind or more of oxides of Fe, Co, Ni and Cr as conductivity giving agents is included with respect to 60 to 90 weight % of ZrO2 including a stabilizing agent so that a semiconductive zirconia sintering body having a volume specific resistance value from 105 to 109 &OHgr;·cm is formed.
