  • Patent number: 11037278
Abstract: This disclosure relates to improved techniques for generating images from raw image sensor data captured in low-light conditions without the use of flash photography. The techniques described herein utilize a neural network architecture to transform the raw image sensor data into well-exposed images. The neural network architecture can be trained using a multi-criterion loss function that jointly models both pixel-level and feature-level properties of the images. The images output by the neural network architecture can be provided to a contrast correction module that enhances the contrast of the images.

  • Publication number: 20200019397
Abstract: A method includes receiving a firmware package including at least one firmware element having a security revision number. The security revision number of the at least one firmware element is compared to at least one firmware state identifier to determine if the firmware package is a rollback. At least one rollback policy is applied to the firmware package to approve or reject the firmware package when the firmware package is a firmware rollback. The firmware package is installed when the firmware package is approved by the at least one rollback policy.

  • Patent number: 10313334
Abstract: Implementations of a system and method of generating and using bilaterally generated variable instant passwords are disclosed. The system is used to secure electronic transactions (e.g., an auction in which one or more bidders are unknown to the auctioneer). In this system an Internet Service Provider (ISP), on request from a USER (e.g., a bidder), facilitates an authentication process with a SERVICE PROVIDER (e.g., an auctioneer). The SERVICE PROVIDER may send a sub-folder, containing a USER name, a temporary sub variable character set, and a CALL, to the USER through the ISP. The password used to access the sub-folder is transmitted directly to the USER by the SERVICE PROVIDER. The USER gets authenticated to the SERVICE PROVIDER by using the USER name, the temporary sub variable character set, and the CALL retrieved from the sub-folder. After USER's authentication, further transactions (e.g., bids) are performed using a password for each transaction.

  • Patent number: 10182049
Abstract: Implementations of a system and method of generating and using bilaterally generated variable instant passwords are disclosed. In some implementations, a computer implemented method of Authenticated Dialogue Initiation between a USER and another party is provided. In some implementations, the USER may attempt to establish a connection with another party at their IP address; the other party may be known or unknown by the USER. In this implementation, a publically available authentication device, comprised of a variable character set, is used to generate a CALL for a password. The password is used to authenticate the other party; authentication is to completed once the correct password is received from the IP address of the party contacted by the USER. In some implementations, Authenticated Dialogue Initiation may be used to control (e.g., grant, deny, and/or limit) another party's access to the USER's computer system.

  • Patent number: 9813415
Abstract: Implementations of a system and method of generating and using bilaterally generated variable instant passwords are provided. In some implementations, the Bilaterally Generated Variable Instant Password System is a Password generation and authentication system that may be used to secure electronic transactions (e.g., a stock market transaction). The system works by authenticating a user at the beginning of a session and at the initiation of any subsequent transactions that occur during the same session. The initial password is entered by the user while additional passwords required to authenticate subsequent transactions are generated by the system without any effort on the part of the user. The passwords are used as encryption keys to encrypt each transaction and may be used to limit a user's access to specific portions of a service providers system. A variety of authentication devices may be used to generate system passwords.

  • Publication number: 20110238755
Abstract: Various embodiments facilitate proximity-based social networking. In one embodiment, a Proximity-based Social Networking facilitator system (“PSN”) determines and provides a user with relevant information based on his proximity to other users of his social and other networks. Proximity determinations may be based on various factors, including user location, user affinity, user activities, and the like. In one embodiment, the PSN determines a group of users that are proximately located to one another, and provides users of the group with information about other users without disclosing their actual location on a map. The users of the group receive the information via mobile computing devices, and can use the mobile computing devices to further interact with the other users of the group, such as by arranging meetings, communicating, and/or engaging in transactions.

  • Publication number: 20090217035
Abstract: Bilaterally Generated Encryption Key System is a variable password based computationally non intensive symmetric encryption key system dispensing with memorization and exchange of keys, capable of providing one encryption key for each object exchanged between two parties, two different encryption keys per transaction and a plurality of encryption keys for a session, integrating authentication and securing transactions preventing breaking attempts. The Password/Encryption Key is a random permutation of Character Units of Variable Character Set System of authentication devices {FIG. 3}, generated by a Call of random numbers from SERVICE PROVIDER and corresponding Response of USER. Bilaterally Generated Encryption Keys and Non Repeating Bilaterally Generated Encryption Keys are two types of Password/Encryption Keys. Secures every Internet/network transactions of USERs {FIG.

  • Publication number: 20060113146
Abstract: An ultra light, noise reducing composite (1) comprises an acoustically transparent, light weight film (6) between an underlay layer (5) and an air flow resistance layer (4). This composite allows to easily tune the acoustic properties by balancing the absorption and sound transmission behaviour of the composite (1). This air flow resistance layer (4) has an air flow resistance of between 500 N s/m3 and 10,000 Ns/m3 and an area mass between 200 g/m2 and 3,000 g /m2. The underlay layer (5) has a stiffness value in the range between 100 Pa and 100,000 Pa. The light weight film (6) may consist of a synthetic foil and preferably has a thickness of 0.01 mm.

  • Publication number: 20050016793
Abstract: The present invention concerns an automotive protective mat (1), also known as throw in mat or protective mat. This mat comprises a microporous stiffening layer (2) (acoustical membrane). This layer may be composed of several sheets. The overall air flow resistance is between 500 Ns/m3-4000 Ns/m3. It is essential for this mat (1) that it is hydrophobic. In order to achieve an enhanced acoustical effectiveness a decoupling layer (6) is foreseen between the microporous stiffening layer (2) and the vehicle floor (8). This decoupling layer might be incorporated in the mat (1) or constituted by the underlaying carpet or sound absorber of the vehicle floor. Further layers or sheets such as adhesive layers, non skid layers, face fabrics or carpets and/or loft layers can be added to the claimed mat.
