  • Publication number: 20190252051
Abstract: A method and system for managing medical data is described. Medical data is stored in a database, where the medical data is supplied by both a patient and by other members of a care team authorized by the patient to provide medical data to the database, the other members of the care team including at least one of a physician, a pharmacist, other health professional and a family member of the patient. A computing device connected to a network provides at least some portions of the medical data supplied by the other members of the care team to the patient and provides at least some portions of the medical data supplied by the patient to members of the care team that are authorized by the patient to receive at least some portions of the medical data, where the providing includes providing a plurality of graphic representations of medical data along a common timeline.

  • Publication number: 20100212745
Abstract: A meter arrangement for a shower comprising a timer, a controller with a display and a standard measure, the timer arranged to determine a standard time to fill the standard measure at a user's desired show flow rate, the controller arrangement determines a shower time period over which a predetermined volume is dispensed at the user's desired flow rate and arranged to provide a signal to a display indicative of pre-determined volume dispensed based upon the time elapsed since initiation determined by reference time signals from the timer

  • Publication number: 20070201126
Abstract: This invention provides a method for commissioning and upgrading an optical ring network using its internal amplifiers as Automatic Spontaneous Emission sources of light that are used in making measurements. A modular segmented approach is adopted and the network is commissioned segment by segment. A flexible method is used for upgrading a commissioned network by adding or deleting a node or changing the internal configuration of a node. The method uses techniques for the correction of the Optical Signal to Noise Ratio induced error as well as the Spectral Filtering Error during the loss computation required for adjusting the gains of the amplifiers at each network node to an appropriate value. Since the method does not require an external laser source that needs to be moved manually from node to node it greatly reduces the commissioning time. Since it uses only the components of the network itself and does not deploy any additional device it also leads to a significant saving in cost.
