The medical cutting assembly (10) includes a cutter head (101) and a limiting member (102) connected to the cutter head (101), where the cutter head (101) includes a delivery portion (1012); the limiting member (102) includes a decomposing portion (1021); and when the cutter head (101) and the limiting member (102) rotate relative to each other, the decomposing portion (1021) extends through the delivery portion (1012). The volume reduction catheter system includes a cutting section and a transfer section. The delivery portion (1012) can transfer excess tissue cut by the cutter head (101) from a distal end to a proximal end. The limiting member (102) is provided with the decomposing portion (1021).
