  • Publication number: 20050194515
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Microelectro mechanical system structure. More specifically the invention relates to utilize a sacrificial layer to fabricate an air bearing structure, followed by forming an aperture, and reducing the aperture to nano-scale by electroplating. And then, by using of two thick film photoresist films for twice electroplating fabrication, for fabricate metal microcoils having high aspect ratio structure and interconnection metal line, to achieve efficiencies of utilizing area and reducing resistance. Moreover, proceed lithography depends on different portions and exposure dose.

  • Publication number: 20050068258
Abstract: A light emitting device with optical enhancement structure. The light emitting device includes a light emitting element and an optical enhancement structure. Some of the light from the light emitting element is emitted in a diverging manner. The optical enhancement structure is optically coupled to the light emitting element, said optical enhancement structure having a light emerging surface that includes a central surface that is orthogonal to the normal and corner surfaces having profiles that are not orthogonal to the normal. The optical enhancement structure is a single structure for changing the normal angle of the first light emerging surface to increase light output efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20050052130
Abstract: A light emitting device with optical enhancement structure. The light emitting device includes a light emitting element and an optical enhancement structure. Some of the light from the light emitting element is emitted in a diverging manner. The optical enhancement structure have an optical characteristic that directs diverging light from the light emitting element along a path within the optical enhancement structure in a direction towards a normal of the pixel. Light output efficiency is enhanced by means of the optical enhancement structure.

  • Publication number: 20050046535
Abstract: A method is proposed to manufacture a precise multi-pole magnetic component for using in magnetic encoders. A special layout of the circuit pattern is designed and formed on a printed circuit board (PCB). Alternate and regular magnetic field is induced according to Ampere's law after a current flowing through the circuit on the PCB. The multi-pole magnetic component with fine magnetic pole pitch is achieved by forming the high-density circuit patterns on a substrate using the PCB technology.

  • Patent number: 6801281
Abstract: Single cell gap transflective liquid crystal display which provides that the backlight traverses the reflective pixel portion twice and thereby follows a path similar to that of the ambient light. A slant reflector is built on the path of the back light to reflect the transmitted light to the reflective portion so that the back light and ambient light follow similar paths.

  • Patent number: 6421105
Abstract: An optic device of a high illumination reflecting type liquid crystal display comprises an upper glass substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a lower glass substrate. An upper glass substrate includes a micro lens array with a plurality of alternative arranged micro lens. The micro lens array is formed by a plurality of first elements and second elements which are arranged regularly or irregularly at the same plane. The lower glass substrate has an aluminum reflecting layer having an aluminum layer. An optic film having a high reflectivity is installed between the aluminum layer and a protecting layer.

  • Patent number: 6290374
Abstract: A traffic signal lamp includes a plurality of light emitting diodes and two lens sets. A first lens set has an entrance surface comprising a plurality of convex cylindrical surfaces running in a vertical direction and an exit surface comprising a plurality of slanted surface segments running in a horizontal direction. A second lens set has an entrance surface comprising a plurality of elongated concave cylindrical surfaces running in the vertical direction and an convex exit surface having a small curvature. The first lens set collimates light in the horizontal direction and limits light in a viewing angle in the vertical direction. The second lens set redistributes light uniformly in a viewing angle in the horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 6124952
Abstract: A magnification-variation scanner modifies the resolution merely by changing the object distance and the image distance, with a constant focal distance. The scanner includes a light source, an object lens, an image detector, a holder for carrying the object lens, an optical path delay and a driver. The optical path delay can be located at the midway of the light path from the light source to the object lens, thereby modifying the optical path between the object surface and the object lens. In accompaniment with the movement of the object lens, the dimensions of the image projected over the image detector can be modified. The resolution can therefore be modified. The driver connects between the holder and the optical path delay.
