Abstract: A display characteristic determination machine receives a request to display seller-related content that references an item available for sale. The display characteristic determination machine identifies a display characteristic available from a web server, determines that the seller-related content is to be displayed using the display characteristic, and communicates to the web server that the seller-related content is to be displayed using the display characteristic and with primary content. The display characteristic determination machine may function as an allocation device to allocate use of the display characteristic. This functionality may be scaled, for example, to include determining use of multiple display characteristics, available from multiple web servers, by multiple instances of seller-related content requested for display by multiple sellers of multiple items.

Abstract: An edge-light backlight assembly is provided, which includes a light guide and a protruding part. The protruding part is provided for receiving light from various directions. The light received by the protruding part directly enters or is reflected to enter the light guide, and then the light leaves the light guide to provide backlight. Abstract: A linear compensation method of a touch panel is utilized to a touch control computer system. According to the method, a compensation reference table, including reference temperatures and reference surface resistances at pre-determined reference points having known coordinates at the reference temperatures, is obtained at first. Then, a set of user calibration resistance at the pre-determined reference points is obtained through a user calibration process, so as to obtain ratios of the user calibration resistances to interpolation surface resistances as correction weights. Under different temperature, interpolation surface resistances corrected by utilizing the correction weight to derive the current correction surface resistances that are corrected and nearly identical to actual surface resistances. Therefore, relatively precise coordinates are obtained through resistance-coordinate conversion process.

Abstract: A pixel data transformation method that can improve the display quality of a text image in a multi-view autostereoscopic display apparatus is provided. The pixel data transformation method includes following steps. The color values of a first and a second original pixels adjacent to each other are obtained. The first and the second original pixels are replaced respectively with a first and a second pixel arrays according to the color value of the first and the second original pixels. Edge pixels on adjoining sides of the first and the second pixel arrays are combined, wherein a color value of each of the combined pixels is a sum of color values of the two corresponding edge pixels on adjoining sides of the first and the second pixel arrays.
