  • Patent number: 8573597
Abstract: A method of playing Baccarat and Baccarat derivative games such as mini-Baccarat and midi-Baccarat which incorporates an optional side bet, without affecting the normal play. The bettors may wager on this side bet, which has a payout based on an occurrence of a natural (two-card) 8-count or 9-count and loses if either no natural occurs, or bettors chose a side that did not have a natural. The Natural side bet may be wagered on either Player side being a natural or the Banker side being a natural. Bettors may win a larger amount on the Natural side bet if specific conditions arise when both the Player and Banker has a natural. In preferred embodiments, the side bets are made electronically via touch screens, and the cards are scanned electronically in a manually dealt shoe or with an electronic shoe simulating physical cards using a computer.

  • Publication number: 20120274022
Abstract: A exotic wager named Double D bet is introduced in the game of Craps which allows for Craps to be played in a conventional manner. Double D bet allows for higher payout, based on pay table; total number of different doubles rolled before “seven out” will determine the payout. A second wager named Broad Bar (6,6) is also introduced. This is a novel “Place Bet”. This bet wins when a double is rolled, except for a pair (6,6) and loses when the shooter “seven out.” The payout can be set by the party offering this wager but a 7:6 is recommended. Although Bar (6,6) was chosen as a push, any other pair (x,x) can be substituted and allow a roll of (6,6) to win.
