    Abstract: The centric relation bite registration tool is a tool for recording the centric relation of a patient's mandible in order to obtain proper occlusion to fabricate a full mouth fixed dental prosthesis. The centric relation bite registration tool includes both a vertically adjustable portion and a horizontally adjustable portion. The vertically adjustable portion is adapted for mounting in a dental implant in the patient's mandibular arch, and the horizontally adjustable portion is adapted for mounting in a dental implant in the patient's maxillary arch. The vertically adjustable portion and the horizontally adjustable portion are releasably secured to one another between the mandibular and maxillary arches providing a single tool which is both horizontally and vertically adjustable for recordation of the proper occlusion between the patient's mandible and maxilla.

First and second rods are received within the longitudinally-extending slot and are longitudinally slidable therein, with each of the first and second rods extending laterally (i.e., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction) through the longitudinally-extending slot. First and second plates are respectively suspended from central portions of the first and second rods and are longitudinally slidable through an opening formed through the bottom end of the housing. First and second ratcheting mechanisms respectively limit rotational movement and rotational direction of the first and second plates with respect to the housing.

    Abstract: The denture construction teaching tool is an educational tool for instructing students on the molding process used to construct removable dental prosthodontics. The denture construction teaching tool includes a base having opposed upper and lower surfaces, and a spacer block releasably secured to the upper surface of the base. A set of tooth molds are releasably secured to the upper surface of the base about the spacer block. Each of the tooth molds has an injection port and a venting port formed therethrough. Each tooth mold further has a lower molding portion and an open upper portion. A removable lid releasably covers the open upper portions of the set of tooth molds, such that a molding material may be injected through the injection ports of the set of tooth molds with excess molding material exiting through the respective venting ports.

    Abstract: The adjustable fixator for scanning dental casts includes upper and lower plates which are adapted for releasably securing a dental cast to be optically scanned therebetween. The upper and lower plates are selectively vertically adjustable with respect to one another, and a bottom surface of the lower plate is adapted for releasable mounting in an optical scanner. The upper plate is secured to a cylindrical shell which slidably receives a vertical support mounted to the lower plate, allowing the user to slidably adjust the height of the upper plate with respect to the lower plate. An engaging member mounted to the cylindrical support slides within a vertically extending slot formed through the cylindrical shell. The vertical position of the upper plate may be locked by sliding the engaging member into a selected one of a plurality of horizontally extending slots also formed through the cylindrical shell.

The abutment section includes a base member having a recessed socket. A plurality of threaded bores radiate into the base member from the socket. The ball section includes a spherical head having a threaded post extending therefrom for mounting the ball joint into a user-selectable threaded bore in the socket to properly orient an integral locator mounting cap retained on the spherical head for attachment of a denture to the joint assembly. The angular orientation of the threaded bores allows a restorative dentist to adjust the joint assembly for effective mounting of the denture or other dental appliance.

    Abstract: A dental implant angle measurement device for measuring angular difference includes a reference member that can be engaged with a reference dental component. An elongate member is attached perpendicular to the reference member and a measuring member is movably positioned along the elongate member. The measuring member can be aligned with a target dental component and further includes a base member and an angular indicator. The angular indicator can have gradations and indicia to indicate an angular difference between an axis passing through the reference dental component and an axis passing through the target dental component that the measuring member is aligned with. The target dental component is positioned in the mouth of the patient or in a cast. A stopping member is also positioned with the elongate member to restrict movement of the measuring member in relation to the elongate member.
