    Abstract: Three-dimensional models with three-dimensional coordinates for a certain area to be displayed on the screen based on coordinates of a reference position are received. The received three-dimensional models are classified according to the positions of nodes of polygons for the three-dimensional models. As for the three-dimensional models of which the nodes of the polygons exist on the same plane, they are displayed on the screen through automatic triangulation using a general three-dimensional graphic library. As for the three-dimensional models of which the nodes of the polygons do not exist on the same plane, they are displayed on the screen by converting the three-dimensional coordinates of the nodes of the polygons into three-dimensional coordinates based on a view point, converting the converted three-dimensional coordinates into two-dimensional coordinates through projection conversion onto a projection plane, and converting the two-dimensional coordinates into screen coordinates.

More particularly, the present invention discloses method for improving folding efficiency and solubility of a target protein by transformation of a host cell with a expression vector comprising a polynucleotide encoding the target protein linked to an RNA-binding protein; culturing the transformed host cell in an appropriate culture medium under the condition that an RNA molecule either resident inside the host cell or provided by cotransformation of the host cell with polynucleotide encoding the RNA molecule interacts with the RNA-binding protein; and purifying the soluble protein from host cell lysate. The method of the present invention is very useful for production of soluble proteins for therapeutic, prophylactic and diagnostic applications.

    Abstract: A clipping plane is formed between a projection center position and a projection plane such that the clipping plane is parallel to the projection plane. A three-dimensional line is subjected to clipping at the clipping plane. It is determined whether respective nodes constituting a three-dimensional line in a three-dimensional image to be projected onto the projection plane exist inside or outside a view volume, by comparing z-axis values of the nodes with a z-axis value of the clipping plane with respect to the projection center position. If the nodes of the three-dimensional line exist both inside and outside the view volume, a new three-dimensional line is constructed using nodes existing inside the view volume and intersections between the current three-dimensional line and the clipping plane, or using only the nodes existing inside the view volume.

    Abstract: A method of coloring silica sand for use in coating a surface. The method includes the steps of selecting silica sand of a desired grain size and color, the preferred color being substantially white and grain size being any combination of thirty, fifty and eighty mesh. A coating having adhesive qualities is then prepared by one of air drying acrylic and vinyl emulsions or thermosetting phenolic, polyester and epoxy emulsions. To coat the silica sand, the silica sand to tumble or fall from an elevated position and is sprayed as it tumbles or falls with the prepared coating. The coated silica sand is then pulverized to break up clumped particles formed during application of the coating. A desired color mixture is obtained by mixing coated silica sand of different colors. The coated silica sand is then applied to a desired surface by one of spraying or using a trowel. Titanium dioxide may now be applied to the mixture after application to alter a gloss of the mixture.
