Patent number: 11192220Abstract: A wieldy unidirectional small swing-angle ratcheting wrench devised for torqueing hexagonal nut fasteners axially placed on hydraulic hoses or similar lines. The invention is formed of a pair of facing matching mirror image bident-shaped solid skins bound together through a solid flat filler sandwiched between the handle sections, which also functions as a mechanical support and spacer. The head cavity houses within its U-shaped elliptical head section a wrenching mechanism comprised of an open-ended ratcheting cog wheel with a central hexagonal slot of definite size. The cog wheel is ratcheted by two spring-biased pawls deployed inside the assembled tool's neck cavity which provide continuous alternating unidirectional engagement, while the outer solid skins at the head are suitably shaped to allow protrusion of the cog wheel's teeth at the sides for simple direct rotation of the wheel for alignment of the cog wheel's and skins' openings together for engagement and removal of the tool.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2016Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Inventors: Hani A. Publication number: 20170152655Abstract: A damp-proof venting device comprising a proximity sensor switch, fan blower, two solenoid valves and a control unit, powered by an external power supply, vents toilet bowl malodour directly into the toilet's sewerage drain, bypassing the toilet's primary water trap via an independent pressure-driven air passage sealed by a secondary independent water trap. Said control unit regulates the operation of venting unit's air blower and two solenoid valves, thus ensuring directionality of displaced air during the venting stage as well as sealing the venting passage after use under all possible circumstances, all in synchronicity with the toilet's engagement by user. A slight variation of said device allows for retrofitting onto geometry and space-accommodating market-available toilet models.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 1, 2016Publication date: June 1, 2017Inventors: Hani A. Patent number: 8789213Abstract: A standard fitting toilet commode made with a hardly-noticeable integrated elongated vertical auxiliary chamber located below and behind the seat. The chamber is with a plugged external top opening at the toilet bowl's rear rim behind the seat, and another internal upper side opening connecting with the commode's drain above and downstream of the water siphon. For optional conversion into a self-ventilating toilet, a compact electric fan unit is retrofitted behind the toilet seat and secured thereto at the seat anchor holes. A single intake nozzle sucks toilet bowl gases from under the rear of toilet seat, through the electric fan, and out into the auxiliary chamber's external opening through an exhaust pipe which converts the chamber into a bottle water trap. A built-in detection sensor, an electronic control unit, and a solenoid valve manage the electric fan's operation and the bottle water trap's replenishment with water.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2011Date of Patent: July 29, 2014Inventor: Hani A. Patent number: 7895920Abstract: A ratchet wrench devised for torquing axially placed hexagonal nut fasteners on hydraulic or similar lines. The wrench is formed of two main components: The first component consists mainly of a straight elongated handle with a semi-circular collar head attached thereto opening to one side. The collar houses three identical metal inserts which when assembled therein form half a peripherally ratcheting wheel with half an axial inner hexagonally shaped socket of predetermined dimensions. The second main component comprises a second mirror-image semi-circular collar housing identical metal inserts, with a tangentially protruding pin member which slides into a slot disposed in the first component. The two components assembled together form a ratcheting wrench with a wheel having an axial hexagonal slot which circumscribes the fastener to be torqued. A spring-biased pawl disposed in the main component engages the ratchet wheel.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2007Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Inventor: Hani A. Abunameh

Publication number: 20090044320Abstract: An improvement to standard toilet bowls implemented during manufacturing at almost no additional cost, whereby malodor can be vented directly from the toilet bowl into the drainage system. A dedicated auxiliary duct is incorporated in the toilet bowl connecting a circular opening at its top behind the seat with the inside air pocket behind and above the siphon. The opening is blocked with a replaceable tight-fitting plastic plug if the self-venting feature is not required. A low voltage electric fan (6-12V) is retrofitted behind the toilet seat and secured thereto at the seat anchor holes, with a flat intake nozzle fitting under the rear end of the toilet seat, and a discharge tube connected to the aforementioned opening behind the toilet seat. Malodors are sucked by the air fan directly from the toilet bowl through the intake nozzle, and are vented through the discharge tube into the drain system behind the siphon.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2007Publication date: February 19, 2009Inventor: Hani A.
