Abstract: An electrical apparatus a voice signal receiving method thereof are disclosed. The electrical apparatus includes a plurality of voice receivers, a voice activity detector, a voice channel switch and a noise eliminator. The voice receivers are used to receive the voice signals. The voice activity detector receives and detects the voice signals, and obtains a main voice signal from the voice signals. The voice channel switch transports the main voice signal to a voice transporting channel and transports a plurality of other voice signals of the voice signals other than the main voice signal to a noise transporting channel according to a detecting result of the voice activity detector. The noise eliminator reduces the noise in the main voice according to the voice signals from the noise transporting channel.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus and a method for providing a sound system of the electronic apparatus are provided herein. The electronic apparatus has a housing, a speaker and a bracket. The housing has a space and a channel, which is coupled to the space. The speaker is placed in the space. The bracket has a first end coupled to the channel and is movable relative to the housing. A sound mode of the electronic apparatus may be switched from a first mode to a second mode by positioning a second end of the bracket from a first position in the channel to a second position away from the channel.

Abstract: A mobile electronic device and a sound playback method thereof are provided. The mobile electronic device includes a sensor, a speaker, and a controller coupled to the sensor and the speaker. The sensor detects whether the speaker is blocked or not. When the speaker is blocked, the controller multiplies a sound signal by a transfer function and then outputs the multiplied sound signal. The speaker plays the sound signal outputted by the controller. The transfer function changes the direction in which the speaker plays the sound signal.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device for communication quality improvement based on ambient noise sensing are provided for improving communication quality. The method includes: during a call, dynamically setting a noise reduction mode in response to the varying of an ambient noise amount of at least one audio signal received by the electronic device. The setting step includes: during the call, dynamically determining whether the ambient noise amount indicates the needs of the application of noise reduction. If the ambient noise amount indicates the needs of the application of noise reduction, then one of a plurality of noise reduction levels is selected according to the ambient noise amount, and the noise reduction mode is set according to the selected noise reduction level, wherein the noise reduction levels include at least two levels corresponding to two different amounts of noise reduction.
