Patent number: 11830590Abstract: Systems, methods, and GUIs are provided for visually communicating clinically relevant information in a manner that maintains context and trends across various sizes of user interfaces, such as smaller user interfaces on mobile devices. In an embodiment, a user interface may display a first timeline area with a first indication of a timespan that represents a portion of the timeline. The first indication of the timespan may be scrollable to change the portion of the timeline displayed. The first timeline area may further comprise a set of clinical diagnoses with corresponding duration indicators. The user interface may also display a second timeline area with a second indication of a timespan, which may mirror the first indication of the timespan. The second timeline area may further comprise a set of diagnostic parameters and associated measurements. The user interface may also present a medication area having lists of medications separated by classification.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2019Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Assignee: CERNER INNOVATION, INC.Inventors: Marissa Brooks, Jody Butts, Hannah Fiechtner, Jean D. Tyler, Jeff Wall

Patent number: 11334710Abstract: Methods for maintaining context of data when displaying information in the form of a timeline across various display devices can be performed using a timeline generation system. The timeline generation system generates a container within a graphical user interface, where the container is proportional to a display device. A timeline is determined and segmented into columns based on the size of the container and a length of time represented by the timeline or the displayed portion of the timeline. Ranges of time represented by the columns of the timeline are provided in an intuitive manner, so that the timeline can provide easy-to-understand data regardless of timeline size or the length of time it represents. The resulting columnized timeline can be arranged on the display device based on sections of the timeline determined based on the number of columns and the size of the container.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2019Date of Patent: May 17, 2022Assignee: CERNER INNOVATION, INC.Inventors: Jody Butts, Hannah Fiechtner, Gerard Isdell, Todd Lomaskin, Christopher Luff, Yen Mac, Erin Musko, Dhaval Patel

Patent number: 9927943Abstract: Methods, computer systems and computer readable media for receiving data from infusion pumps in a healthcare setting and displaying the data on a user device are provided. Centralized clinician views are provided to enable clinician to provide additional information for infusion data within selected time ranges. Embodiments provide near real-time graphical displays of infusion data to clinicians on separate user devices. In addition, near real-time graphical displays of patient physiologic data is displayed simultaneously to a clinician along with the infusion data.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 2010Date of Patent: March 27, 2018Assignee: Cerner Innovation, Inc.Inventors: Mary Gannon, Amanda Buckley, Hannah Fiechtner, Stephanie L. Rogers
