  • Publication number: 20240099844
Abstract: A delivery apparatus for a medical device can include a handle, a shaft, a plurality of sleeves, and a suture. The shaft includes a proximal end portion coupled to the handle and is configured to be disposed outside of a patient's body during an implantation procedure and a distal end portion configured to be disposed inside a patient's body during the implantation procedure. Each of the sleeves includes a connection portion coupled to the distal end portion of the shaft and a receiving portion configured to receive an apex of a stent or a prosthetic heart valve. The suture extends through the shaft and the sleeves and is configured for releasably securing the stent or the prosthetic heart valve to the receiving portions of the sleeves.

  • Patent number: 11801138
Abstract: A method for delivering a prosthetic valve to a native annulus of a heart can include inserting a delivery apparatus into a patient's body, advancing the delivery apparatus to an implantation location within the native annulus, retracting a delivery sheath of the delivery apparatus relative to the prosthetic valve to expose the prosthetic valve from a distal end of the delivery sheath, and after the prosthetic valve is exposed from the delivery sheath, expanding the prosthetic valve from a radially compressed state to a radially expanded state by reducing axial tension on a first end and a second end of the prosthetic valve.

  • Patent number: 11205245
Abstract: A method of improving visual recognition of an item amongst a plurality of items displayed by an electronic device having a display includes providing a number of sets of actual dimensions of a number of the plurality of items, respectively, the number of the plurality of items including the item. A scaling factor is determined using the number of sets of actual dimensions and a number of sets of image dimensions of a respective number of representations of the number of the plurality of items respectively contained in a number of images. The scaling factor is applied to a dimension of an image to be displayed containing a representation of the item, and the scaled image is displayed.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10583007
Abstract: A delivery apparatus for a prosthetic implant can include an elongate first shaft, a first suture guide coupled to the first shaft, an elongate second shaft, and a second suture guide coupled to the second shaft. The first shaft can extend coaxially through the second shaft and the second suture guide, the first suture guide can be disposed distal to the second suture guide, and the first suture guide and the second suture guide can be configured to be axially movable relative to each other.
