  • Patent number: 10100779
Abstract: A drive link assembly includes a case having a spherically formed inner ring. A clevis is affixed to a surface of the case such that is disposed horizontally between a first end and a second end of the clevis. A spacer having a spherical inset portion is positioned on the surface horizontally between the clevis and the spherically formed inner ring, such that the spherical inset portion is aligned with the spherically formed inner ring. A spherical bearing is seated within the spherically formed inner ring. A rod is affixed to an outer surface of the spherical bearing.

  • Publication number: 20140065910
Abstract: A silicone rubber coating material to be bonded to substrates such as on gas turbine components is made by providing a silicone rubber layer having a fiber layer attached to one side of the silicone rubber layer prior to its molding into a compound. The fibers may be either woven fabrics or random fiber sheets and the fiber layer may be from about 3 mils to about 30 mils (0.0762 mm to 0.762 mm) thick.

  • Publication number: 20140026590
Abstract: A bracket for an augmentor assembly of a gas turbine engine includes a first mount attachable to a support structure. A second mount is attachable to an augmentor pilot assembly and extends radially inward of the support structure. First and second spring members attach on a first end to the first mount and on a second end to the second mount. The first and second spring members include a center spring portion spaced apart from one another to allow sufficient relative radial and circumferential movement to accommodate differential thermal expansions throughout operation of the augmentor.

  • Patent number: 8572979
Abstract: A combustor liner cap assembly is provided for use in a multiple fuel nozzle combustor of a gas turbine. The combustor liner cap assembly includes a tube plate having a plurality of fuel nozzle openings and a plurality of open ended premix tubes extending aft from the tube plate. Each premix tube has a forward end having a forward edge, the forward end being received in a corresponding one of the fuel nozzle openings. Each premix tube is secured to the tube plate aft of the forward edge of the forward end of the premix tube, for example, metallurgically bonded, such as by welding or brazing, to the tube plate or threaded into the tube plate.
