Abstract: Image processing technologies and acquisition methods and apparatus are provided. A method comprises obtaining at least two images of different image quality of a target scene, and combining, according to data characteristics of the at least two images, the at least two images locally to obtain a target image. In a method and apparatus of the embodiments of the present application, local combination is performed on at least two images of different image quality according to data characteristics of the images, so that the dynamic range and/or signal-to-noise ratio can be improved locally on the basis of presenting image details as fully as possible, that is, the image quality can be improved according to requirements.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide image processing methods and apparatus. A image processing method disclosed herein comprises: acquiring two images of the same scene shot in the same position with the same aperture pattern and different depth of field parameters; performing frequency-domain conversion on each of the images, to obtain a frequency-domain signal of each image; and obtaining an all-in-focus image of the scene at least according to the frequency-domain signal of each image and the different depth of field parameters.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide image processing methods and apparatus. A image processing method disclosed herein comprises: acquiring, from an image, two regions which have a textural similarity higher than a first value and have different depths; performing frequency-domain conversion on each of the regions, to obtain a frequency-domain signal of each region; and optimizing the image at least according to the frequency-domain signal of each region, the depth of each region and a focusing distance of the image.

Abstract: A method receives ratings for videos from a first user that is using a video delivery service. A first model includes connection networks where each connection network corresponds to a rating. The method inputs each rating into a connection network in an order. Also, parameters for the ratings and ratings other than the rating received from the first user are modeled in a respective connection network. Values for the set of parameters are trained such that the plurality of connection networks predict conditional probabilities that the first user would provide the rating corresponding to the each connection network in the order. The conditional probabilities are based on the first user providing ratings that are previously located in the order. The parameters are then used to generate a list of videos to recommend to the first user using the first model.

Abstract: The present application discloses an information observation method and an information observation, apparatus, and relates to the field of multimedia information processing technologies. The method comprises: detecting a position of a sightline focusing point of an observer; in response to that it is detected that the sightline focusing point of the observer moves away from an observed object, judging whether the observer has observed all important information on the observed object; and in response to that it is judged that the observer has not observed all important information on the observed object, reminding the observer. For the method and the apparatus in embodiments of the present application, from the perspective of an actual observation behavior of an observer, a position of a sightline focusing point of the observer is detected to determine an observation behavior of the observer for important information, so as to radically prevent missing of important information.

Abstract: Authentication methods and apparatuses are provided. The authentication method comprises: acquiring, from a server, first server authentication information of a user, the first server authentication information being encrypted by using at least one first key obtained from a first number of characters in a user password of the user; acquiring the first number of characters input by the user in a password input area; decrypting the first server authentication information by using at least one second key obtained from the first number of characters input; feeding back at least one first authentication response to the user at least according to the decrypted first server authentication information; and sending an authentication request to the server based on a server authentication pass instruction of the user, the authentication request being used to request the server to authenticate the user.

At the server end, a data synchronization request related to a task can be received from by a requesting end, data corresponding to the data synchronization request is determined, and the data corresponding to the data synchronization request can be returned to the requesting end. Data related to a task currently to be done by a user is acquired from a server end by using a data synchronization request related to the task, so that the user can quickly and flexibly virtualize a working environment of the user related to the task.

Abstract: Positioning methods and devices are described, which relate to the field of positioning. A method comprises: acquiring a group of transmission parameters of a wireless energy transmission device; determining N groups of reference transmission parameters from multiple groups of reference transmission parameters according to the group of transmission parameters, where N is a positive integer; and determining, according to the N groups of reference transmission parameters, one receiving position of a wireless energy receiving device corresponding to the wireless energy transmission device. In this regard, a correspondence that exists between a receiving position of a wireless energy receiving device and a transmission parameter of a wireless energy transmission device can be used to implement positioning of the wireless energy receiving device.

Abstract: Display control is provided relating to the field of near-to-eye display technologies. A method comprises: determining a first display area, in the field of view (FOV) of a user, of an image displayed on a main display device; dividing the image according to display capabilities of the main display device and a near-to-eye display device, the first display area, and an attribute of the image; controlling a display of the near-to-eye display device in accordance with a result of the division of the image. The near-to-eye display device is used to supplement a display that is provided at a suitable viewing distance of a user by a device but cannot fully fill the FOV of the user, so that an image can be displayed by making adaptations to meet the original quality of the image as far as possible, thereby providing a good viewing experience.

A method comprises exposing an image sensor, reading a charge on the image sensor and performing analog-to-digital conversion, where a charge of pixels on a partial region of the photosensitive sensor is read by means of pixel binning according to data characteristics of an image of a target scene, and obtaining a target image of the target scene according to the read charge. Abstract: Systems and methods for removing border objects from a page of digital image are presented. More particularly, in removing border objects from a page of a digital image, the following are performed. In the first place, a digital image having at least one page of content is obtained. A content area of content on the page is determined. Border objects in the region between the page margin and the content area are then located. For each located border object, the following two steps are performed. The located border object is evaluated according to a set of border criteria, and the located border object is removed if the evaluation of the border object indicates that the border object is to be removed. Thereafter, the updated digital image is stored in a content store.

Abstract: Systems and methods for removing artifacts from a page of digital image are presented. More particularly, a digital image is obtained, the digital image having at least one page of content to be processed. A content bounding box is determined for the content of the page. Additionally, a set of segments is generating, the set corresponding to particular areas of the content within the content bounding box, each area associated with a type of content. For each segment of the set of segments, the following are performed. Despeckling criteria are selected for identifying artifacts according to the type associated with the segment. Artifacts are identified in the segment according to the despeckling criteria. The identified artifacts are then removed from the page. Thereafter, the updated digital image is stored in a content store.

Abstract: A system and a method of customizing on-demand printed content are disclosed. In response to receiving a request from a consumer for on-demand printed content, content customization is determined. The determined customization is incorporated within the requested content and the on-demand printed content. Thereafter, and further responsive to the request, an on-demand printed copy of the requested content, including the incorporated customizations, is output for on-demand printing.
