  • Patent number: 9169396
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a web composed essentially of a granulate and a polymer. In order for the web to have good suction against the substrate after it has been laid on a floor, the interstices between the granulate particles are not allowed to be filled with the polymer. According to the invention, this is brought about in that the polymer is applied to the top side of the granulate. After the polymer melts, the polymer seeps down through the granulate. By means of targeted control or regulation, this sinking process is influenced before the polymer reaches the underside of the web. The invention also comprises a sensor and the product as such.

  • Publication number: 20130260391
Abstract: A method for determination of the potentially available activity of cathepsin B in a biological sample, including the activity of the active form of cathepsin B, the form of cathepsin B which can be activated from the pro-form procathepsin B being present in the sample, and the form of cathepsin B which can be activated and which is inhibited in the sample in its activity by protease inhibitor, whereby the procathepsin B being present in the sample is converted into the active form of cathepsin B, the free protease inhibitor for cathepsin B being present in the sample is depleted from the sample or its inhibitor function is suppressed, and the protease inhibitor is withdrawn from the inhibited form of cathepsin B, and subsequently the activity of the active cathepsin B in the sample is determined.

  • Patent number: 7544421
Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor covering based on linoleum having improved fire-protection properties, comprising at least one wear layer made of linoleum, which contains at least one phosphorus-containing compound, solution, suspension, or dispersion as a liquid/viscous flame retardant in a quantity of up to 20 weight-percent, in relation to the quantity of the wear layer, as well as a method for the manufacture thereof. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a floor covering based on cork having improved flame protection properties, comprising at least one phosphorus-containing compound, solution, suspension, or dispersion as a liquid/viscous flame retardant in a quantity of up to 20 weight-percent, in relation to the quantity of the wear layer.

  • Patent number: 7186453
Abstract: A resilient floor covering with a regenerative, dirt-repellent surface contains a matrix based on natural and/or synthetic materials and at least one substance that is capable of migrating within the matrix and the amount of the substance is in excess of its compatibility in the matrix. The resilient floor covering according to the invention preferably has an embossed surface and a matrix, into which a particulate material with greater hardness than that of the matrix is incorporated. The floor covering is characterized by improved soiling behavior and increased wear resistance.

  • Patent number: 7019087
Abstract: A method for the production of moldable masses is provided. The method includes compounding a polyolefin having a density of less than about 0.918 g/cm3 serial cross-linking agents. The moldable masses can be used the production of low-emission floor coverings with excellent material properties.

  • Patent number: 6946541
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition based on renewable raw materials which is particularly characterized by containing at least one tin-containing compound, an article made thereof as well as a process for the preparation of such an article. The composition according to the present invention exhibits an increased curing rate, i.e. a shortened “incubation time”, compared to those compositions based on renewable raw materials currently available in the prior art. Furthermore, the composition according to the present invention can advantageously use particularly in casting and rotational casting processes, respectively.
