  • Patent number: 11987905
Abstract: A monofilament yarn (10) has a polygon cross-section having a width and a height, which width is greater than the height, and four corners (11, 12, 13, 14) of which the first two opposite corners (11, 13) have angles of over 90 degrees, and the second two opposite corners (12, 14) have angles under 90 degrees, said width being 0.1 to 3 mm. The rounded first two opposite corners have a radius of 0.1 to 0.15 mm, and the rounded second two opposite corners have a radius of 0.075 to 0.1 mm. The yarn may be used to fabricate an industrial textile, which may be a papermaking fabric such as a dryer fabric or a forming fabric, or a filter fabric, such as a disc filter, a horizontal vacuum belt filter, a belt filter press, a twin wire press, a drum filter, a pan filter, a gravity table or a filter press.

  • Patent number: 11505897
Abstract: An industrial textile (6) for manufacturing a fibrous web has first machine direction yarns (1) on the front side (7) which bind to first cross-machine direction yarns (4) in a first pattern, while second machine direction yarns (2) on the back side bind to second cross-machine direction yarns (5) in a second pattern. Third machine direction yarns (3) bind to the first cross-machine direction yarns (4) and the second cross-machine direction yarns (5) in a third pattern. The third pattern has at least one interlacing point (71) on the front side where one of the third machine direction yarns (3) passes over one of the first cross-machine direction yarns (4) and at least one interlacing point (72) on the back side (8) where the same third machine direction yarn (3) passes under one of the second cross-machine direction yarns (5).

  • Publication number: 20180355555
Abstract: The invention relates to a paper machine fabric that consists of two layers, a paper-side layer and a wear-side layer. The paper-side layer consists of the top warps (1) and at least the binding top wefts (2), which have been adjusted to form a part of the paper-side surface, and the wear-side layer consists of the bottom warps (3) and bottom wefts (4). The binding top wefts (2) have been adjusted to bind the paper-side layer and the wear-side layer together. Each binding top weft (2) is adjusted so that it forms a continuous independent yarn path.
