Abstract: Methods and arrangements are disclosed for collecting subscriber identity. A cell is formed for carrying out communications with mobile devices. A channel bandwidth indication is transmitted and indicates to cellular mobile devices the formed cell utilizes bandwidth identical to the bandwidth utilized in neighboring real cells. A downlink radio channel power level on a given continuous channel subset of the indicated channel bandwidth is provided. A communication request from a cellular mobile device is received and radio resources allocated to the cellular mobile device from the given continuous channel subset of the indicated channel bandwidth. A subscriber identity of the cellular mobile device is received from the cellular mobile device.

Abstract: There is provided a measuring system comprising: a measuring device configured to measure parameters of a serving cell required for camping into the neighbor cells of the serving cell, to camp into the neighbor cells in order to store reception quality and neighbor cell lists from the neighbor cells; and a base station configured to set parameters of the formed virtual cell such that the virtual cell becomes a tempting destination for a cell reselection, to interfere the serving cell in order to cause the one or more user terminals to camp into the virtual cell, and to catch one or more identifiers of the one or more user terminals camping into the virtual cell after the start of virtual cell transmission.

An apparatus comprises a processor configured to control a stand-alone base station so that an emulated cell is formed by transmitting a control channel with information of a real cell and with such a transmission power that a subscriber terminal of a cellular radio system is forced to camp in the emulated cell, and to control the stand-alone base station to block service from the subscriber terminal before an integrity protection process is performed between the stand-alone base station and the subscriber terminal.
