    Abstract: A jamming device on an object for jamming a target seeker arranged to generate an image of its surroundings and extract targets from the image. A laser is arranged to emit laser radiation at the target seeker so that the laser radiation is projected on the image. A modulator is disposed in connection with the laser and is arranged to modulate the intensity pattern of the laser radiation with the intent of manipulating the image in order to make it more difficult for the target seeker to extract the object as a target. The invention also includes a jamming method.

The body (3) is arranged to reflect the said laser beam so that it is aimed in a surrounding space within an area that, from an instrument plane (11) of the reflecting body (3), covers at least a part of a circular revolution, as well as an angle interval approximately ±60° to the instrument plane. The device is characterized in that its steering means (2, 4) is arranged in the path of the laser beam between the laser (1) and the reflecting body (3), and is arranged to steer the laser beam, within the area, in accordance with a pre-selected direction, whereby the steering means comprises a spatial light modulator (2), whose phase-shift pattern determines the modulated angle from the modulator.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a device for displaying an image directly on the retina (6) of the eye (5). The device comprises means (1) arranged to emit laser radiation and modulating means (2) arranged in the beam path between the laser-radiation-emitting means (1) and the eye (5) so as to modulate the laser radiation. The device is characterized in that the modulating means (2) are arranged so as to modulate the phase front of the laser beam so that, when it strikes the refracting elements of the eye, it is deflected in a direction distinct from the direction obtained with unmodulated radiation.
