    Abstract: A detergent composition containing by weight (a) from 5 to 35% of an anionic or nonionic surfactant, (b) from 10 to 40% of finely crystalline zeolite, (c) from 4 to 20% of alkali metal silicate or carbonate and from 0.1 to 5% of (d) aminoalkanephosphonate or (d2) copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and maleic acid and (e) from 5 to 80% of other detergent constituents is considerably improved in regard to its incrustation-inhibiting properties if it additionally contains (f) from 0.05 to 1% (based on the free acid) of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid in the form of its alkali metal salt. The weight ratio of (d1) to (f) is from 3:1 to 1:6 and of (d2) to (f) is from 40:1 to 2:1.

    Abstract: A liquid, readily pourable detergent concentrate having fabric-softening properties is free from builder salts and contains the following constituents: (a) from about 5 to about 15% by weight of sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate, (b) from about 7 to about 20% by weight of ethoxylated alcohols containing from 12 to 18 carbon atoms in the alcohol residue and from 5 to 10 glycol ether groups, (c) from about 6 to about 16% by weight, based on the weight of the fatty acids used to form the soap, of saturated or monounsaturated fatty acids containing from 12 to 18 C-atoms, present as a water-soluble soap, (d) from about 7 to about 15% by weight of a fatty acid diethanolamide derived from C.sub.16 -C.sub.18 fatty acids of which at least 50% are monounsaturated, (e) from about 0.2 to about 3% by weight of sequestering agents, (f) from about 5 to about 15% by weight of low molecular weight alcohols and from about 25 to about 45% by weight of water.

    Abstract: A detergent having improved detergency particularly with respect to greasy soil comprising (a) a mixture of water-insoluble nonionic surfactants, (b) a water-soluble anionic surfactant of the sulfonate or sulfate type, (c) a detergent builder and (d) other standard detergent ingredients. The nonionic surfactant comprises a mixture of (i) an ethoxylated C.sub.16 -C.sub.18 alcohol with 4 to 6 glycolether groups, (ii) an ethoxylated C.sub.10 -C.sub.14 alcohol with 4 to 6 glycolether groups and (iii) an ethoxylated C.sub.10 -C.sub.18 alkylamine with 1 to 3 glycolether groups. The nonionic surfactant is adsorbed on a granular carrier material which is soluble or dispersible in water. The weight ratio of constituent (i) to constituent (ii) to constituent (iii) is within the range of 1:2(2-6):(0.8-2.5) and the weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the anionic surfactant is within the range of 4:1 to 4:3.
