  • Patent number: 12596637
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device obtains testing parameters used by a plurality of agents in a network to perform testing with respect to an online application. The device identifies overlapping parameters among the testing parameters and generates a consolidated set of testing parameters for the overlapping parameters. The device configures the plurality of agents such that a singular testing agent performs testing with respect to the online application using the consolidated set of testing parameters instead of multiple testing agents performing testing with respect to the online application using the overlapping parameters.

  • Patent number: 12580837
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device identifies a port associated with a backend probing agent for a cloud-hosted application. The device performs external probing of a path to the cloud-hosted application by sending a probe along the path to the port, to generate external probing results. The device triggers the backend probing agent to generate backend probing results by performing backend probing of a backend service used by the cloud-hosted application. The device causes formation of unified probing results that correlate the external probing results and the backend probing results.

  • Publication number: 20250211606
Abstract: In one implementation, a method is disclosed comprising: initiating probing of a path in a network by sending one or more probe packets along the path, wherein each hop along the path responds with vulnerability score information for that hop; receiving modified responses containing the vulnerability score information for each hop along the path; generating, based on the modified responses, a visual representation of the path that identifies vulnerability scores associated with each hop along the path; and providing the visual representation to a user interface for display.

  • Patent number: 12289210
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device obtains topology information for a segment routed network. The device generates, based on the topology information, segment routing label stacks to probe different paths between a source and destination in the segment routed network. The device conducts probing of the different paths during which synthetic probe packets are sent via the segment routed network using the segment routing label stacks. The device presents results of the probing of the different paths for display.

  • Publication number: 20250106138
Abstract: In one implementation, a “probe controller orchestrator” provides access to cross-domain probing via the probe controller orchestrator for a plurality of probe controllers across a plurality of different network domains with a respective different probing protocol and associated probing capability. The probe controller orchestrator, in particular, obtains domain-specific probe test results from each of the plurality of probe controllers, and correlates the domain-specific probe test results into cross-domain data formatted in a common data format understandable by each of the plurality of probe controllers. As such, the probe controller orchestrator may then respond to requests received from the plurality of probe controllers with the cross-domain data in order to cause respective domain-specific processing.

  • Patent number: 12224928
Abstract: According to one or more implementations of the disclosure, a device initiates probing of a path in a network during which one or more probe packets are sent along the path. A hop along the path modifies the one or more probe packets to include energy source information regarding one or more energy sources available to that hop. The device receives results of the probing of the path that include the energy source information. The device generates, based on the results of the probing, a visual representation of the path and those one or energy sources available to different hops along the path. The device provides the visual representation of the path to a user interface for display.

  • Publication number: 20250007810
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a device identifies a configuration change in a network based on path probing data obtained by a path probing service from the network. The device causes, based on the configuration change, the path probing service to obtain updated path probing data from the network by sending synthetic probes along a path in the network using a plurality of different protocols. The device selects, based on the updated path probing data, a particular protocol from among the plurality of different protocols to use to probe the path. The device configures the path probing service to probe the path using the particular protocol.

  • Publication number: 20060212838
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to machines that perform in-system programming of programmable devices that are attached to assembled printed circuit boards. In accordance with one aspect, multiple nonvolatile devices may be programmed in a single session at their normal maximum programming speeds. Different nonvolatile devices on a board can receive different data. Data variables can be inserted so that not all boards receive identical data. A master controller sends image files and algorithm information to a subsidiary controller. The subsidiary controller executes a device algorithm, and an FPGA executes a bus algorithm. Embodiments of the present invention can be designed as stand-alone systems or to operate cooperatively with an automatic tester, so that testing and device programming can take place in a single operation using a single fixture to hold the circuit board.
