  • Patent number: 11783971
Abstract: A joint joins an alloy member to a ceramic member via a glass joining agent, which is joined to the alloy member by a material bonded joint and to the ceramic member by a further material bonded joint. The glass joining agent is made of a glass having a melting point below 800° C.; a coefficient of thermal expansion of at least 9-10?6 K?1 and a bismuth content of at least 10%. The alloy member has a coefficient of thermal expansion of at least 9-10?6 K?1. The ceramic member has a maximum coefficient of thermal expansion of 8-10?6 K?1. The material bonded joint defines a mixing region that is a partial region of the ceramic member, and the bismuth content in the mixing region is higher than that of the ceramic member outside the mixing region.

  • Publication number: 20230204446
Abstract: A transducer for determining a pressure of a hydrogen-containing fluid medium confined in a first space includes a pressure side end configured to be disposed facing the fluid medium. The transducer includes a housing, which defines a second space, and a measuring arrangement disposed in the second space. The pressure side end includes a diaphragm configured and disposed for hermetically separating the first space from the second space. The diaphragm includes a metallic material that is made of a high-alloy martensite.

  • Publication number: 20160228966
Abstract: A method for producing a material-bonding metal-ceramic soldered connection of an uncoated ceramic body to a metal part uses a metallic solder and begins by choosing the metal part with a 50% fraction of an oxygen-affine element; choosing the ceramic body with at least 80% aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon oxide or an alloy thereof; choosing an inactive, eutectic or near-eutectic solder; and forming a structure with the ceramic body and the metal part with an intermediate space between the their opposing surfaces. The solder is introduced into the intermediate space or the vicinity thereof. The structure is heated in a vacuum at a soldering temperature (T) greater than the liquidus temperature (TL) of the solder for a soldering period. The connection is applied between a ceramic bushing and a high-temperature sensor.
