    Abstract: An arrangement for coupling and decoupling gripper rail partial sections of a transfer press in which the gripper rail partial sections are to be clamped together flange-like. The clamping bolt is adapted to be actuated by an adjusting drive in the displacement direction and in a rotary movement. A slide member displaceable in the end portion of the gripper rail partial section includes slide guidances which extend at an inclination to the displacement direction and in which pressure members are displaceably supported. During the displacement of the clamping bolt, the slide member is moved along and the pressure members are displaced into the separating gap between the gripper rail partial sections under abutment at stop members in the end portion of the gripper rail partial section to be coupled. The clamping anchor is adapted to be fixed at a ball socket by rotation and by retraction.

    Abstract: An arrangement for the feeding of sheet-metal blanks to a first machine stage is provided. A drawing stage of a transfer press is provided which has a conveying device for taking sheet-metal blanks from a supply pile and depositing them in an intermediate depositing stage adjacent the supply pile. The conveying means takes the sheet-metal blanks from the intermediate depositing stage to a first machining stage adjacent the intermediate depositing stage. Transfer rails are provided which can be driven in transfer direction, in lifting in lowering direction and in closing and opening direction. Gripping devices are attached to the transfer rails for the transport of the workpieces between the machining stages.

    Abstract: The arrangement for contactless measurement of the velocity of a moving medium comprises two transducers which furnish electrical signals into which inhomogeneities of the moving medium enter depending on their spatial position in accordance with different spatial weighting functions. The detecting regions of the two transducers are offset with respect to each other in the direction of movement of the medium but partially overlap in such a manner that the gradient of the spatial cross correlation function for the spatial displacement zero is different from the zero vector. A correlator forms the time cross correlation function of the two signals and an evaluation circuit derives the measured value for the velocity of the moving medium from the gradient of the time cross correlation function for the time displacement zero.

The rocker lever includes an extension portion extending beyond a pivotal connection of the coupling member with the rocker lever. A secondary drive lever is provided with a first end of a link member being pivotally connected with the secondary drive lever and a second end of the link member being pivotally connected with a free end of the extension portion of the rocker lever. A transmission link element is provided for moving the cutting unit with the transmission link element being adjustably connected with the secondary drive lever.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the continuous preparation and packing of freeze-dried material, having a horizontally movable web and successively disposed forming, freezing, freeze-drying, heat-sealing, punching and transport devices. The freeze-drying devices consist of two successively disposed freezers having separate refrigerant circuits, and a primary drying tunnel and a secondary drying tunnel having separate evacuating and heating systems and hermetically closable air locks located ahead of the primary drying tunnel, between the primary and secondary drying tunnels, and at the end of the secondary drying tunnel the air locks comprise compressible and expandable walls, retractable tables and upwardly and downwardly opening slide valves for sealing the primary drying tunnel hermetically from the secondary drying tunnel. An advancing mechanism is coupled to the air locks and movable in the horizontal direction for advancing the movable web in conjunction with the expansion and compression of the air lock walls.

    Abstract: Driving apparatus for imparting linear reciprocating movement to a shear on a flying shear apparatus or the like. A continuously constantly rotatable axle is provided with a pair of disks having cam surfaces on the periphery thereof engageable with guide rollers fixed at two lever arms of a three-armed lever, the third lever arm being connected to the flying shear by way of a coupling rod pivotably attached at the third lever arm and the flying shear. The cam disks are configured so as to impart motion to the shear in a feeding direction with a first feed segment of increasing velocity, a second feed segment of constant velocity, and a third feed segment of decreasing velocity, whereby the shearing operation can conveniently be executed during the phase of constant velocity.
