  • Publication number: 20160140229
Abstract: A method and system for organizing, searching/finding and filtering internet content based on content relevancy through data categorization by use of metadata. The present invention furthermore describes the presentation and feed of live data content to a search engine. An infrastructure of interconnected servers hosting a software to organize data, called web operating kernel (WOK), allows users to supply smart data (metadata) to describe original web content. Smart data consist of a title, description of content and its context, location or URL of the original underlying content and may include additional file attachment such as image files, audio and video files etc. This data is used by the WOKs integrated search engine software to search and find the most relevant content pertaining to a particular search term.

  • Publication number: 20140222592
Abstract: A method and system of internet connected computers for organizing globally presented original data in the World Wide Web locally. This data mainly consists of human generated data (websites, text files etc.) and also automatically produced technical data (from sensors, machines, chip cards etc.). The present invention describes how humans can assign metadata to the original data to describe specific aspects of the original data content. The system for creating and organizing web content through metadata is called Web Operating System (WOS). The software that controls the WOS is contained in the Web Operation Kernel (WOK). A WOK is standardized software that can be loaded on local servers or on individual computers (PCs) locally. The local WOK is controlled by users through tools on a graphic user interface (GUI) via a web-browser. This metadata, generated by human intelligence, is stored on local servers which host the WOK.

Abstract: Methods and devices are described with which screen displays, screen contents and screen layouts, for instance, job searches, are all available to users of competence functions (competence profiles) depending on the occurrence of certain types of data in databases. By means of the methods and devices, such screen displays, screen contents and screen layouts of job searches can be generated in the form of competence functions (competence profiles) depending on the occurrence of certain types of data in databases. It is likewise described how suitable search profiles can be found with competence functions and how suitable competence profiles can be found with search profiles.

  • Patent number: 5648761
Abstract: Contact-free cards that have at least two coupling elements spatially separated from one another such as, inductor coils, capacitors plates or photoreceivers, that utilize the effects derived from the spatial distance of the coupling elements from one another, i.e. stereo effect, is provided. The contact-free chip cards use the stereo effect to decide whether they are located within a prescribed range of a transmitter receiver. The range of the access can be reduced further, but cannot be increased beyond a fixed limit. Thus, access to the data of such cards outside this range is precluded. Such cards can additionally be equipped with means for switchable authorization of remote access. The contact-free card apparatus of the present invention further provides that it is the card itself and not the card environment that decides whether it is located in the near range of the terminal device such that it allows protectable access to its data and prohibits access from a greater distance.

  • Patent number: 5619683
Abstract: A hardware device known as a RICH coupler which works between an IC card and its corresponding terminal system. The function of the RICH coupler depends upon its position. Between the card level and the system level there is a third independent level, the coupler. The card level and the system level are involved in the specific card application. The coupler level is application independent. The present invention provides an application independent RICH coupler which works like a supervisor between the applications on the card level and the applications on the system level.

  • Patent number: 5376778
Abstract: Chip cards that operate contact-free are supplemented by additional elements to enable remote transmission of data. Also, elements include sensors that enable the acquisition of physical, chemical or biological information from the environment of the card. Further, the card includes elements for storing electrical energy, electronic components for constructing an electronic oscillation circuit for the remote transmission and reception of data, as well as a switch accessible by a user for selectively connecting the energy storage elements to the electronic components thereby forming an electromagnetic oscillation circuit for the transmission of electromagnetic oscillations with information modulated thereon. In a preferred embodiment, one or both of the coils that are provided on the card are connected via the switch such that the coils serve as an antenna for the electromagnetic oscillation circuit for the remote transmission of data.

  • Patent number: 5288979
Abstract: Electronic memory chips have been introduced into plastic cards, for example, credit, checking and/or personal data cards. A method for activating the memory chips makes it possible to issue the plastic cards for a specific use and to later expand the card use by activating the chip that had been inactive up to then and had no significance for the standard use of the cards. Protective measures are implemented in order to make use of the cards possible only for authorized persons. Cards issued or counterfeited by unauthorized persons may also be recognized and eliminated.
