  • Patent number: 8715546
Abstract: The process for producing tooth replacement parts is characterized in that curable tooth replacement material is introduced into a first mold of part of the human dentition, a positive model produced from a second mold is pressed into this material and the tooth replacement material remaining after the pressing-in is allowed to cure to form the tooth replacement part(s).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 2006
Date of Patent: May 6, 2014
Assignee: Ernst Muehlbauer GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Bernd Detje, Hans-Dieter Höhnk, Wolfgang Carl Friedrich Mühlbauer
  • Patent number: 8083099
Abstract: A method for producing a multicomponent compound involves pressing components out of cartridges by means of pistons. The method has particular applicability in connection with dental applications. The method prevents pressing the components initially under high pressures. At the beginning of the pressing-out process, a pressure lower than the characteristic pressing-out pressure of the components from the cartridges is employed. Feed speeds are adjusted to constant value as a function of the pressing-out behavior of the components which are compared with stored or calculated values for a known material.

Date of Patent: December 27, 2011
Assignee: Ernst Muhlbauer GmbH & Co. KG

  • Patent number: 7383969
Abstract: A device for mixing and dispensing multi-component compositions employs a cap. The cap acts as a closure initially to close the outlet openings of the components and can be moved into the open position by pressure of the components while they are being discharged, so that the components can be mixed by the mixing helix and emerge from the outlet tube. The device also includes a distribution structure that may be a fitted onto or an integral part of the outlet tube.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 10, 2008
Assignee: Ernst Muhlbauer GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Hans Hörth, Steffen Reuss, Hans-Dieter Höhnk
  • Patent number: 7367475
Abstract: The device for mixing and dispensing multi-component compositions is distinguished in that a cap (10) acting as a closure initially closes the outlet openings (5) of the components and can be moved into the open position by pressure of the components while they are being discharged, so that the components can be mixed by the mixing helix (13) and emerge from the outlet tube (12).

Inventors: Hans Hörth, Steffen Reuss, Hans-Dieter Höhnk
  • Patent number: 6500001
Abstract: Device for dispensing multi-component compounds, in particular for dental purposes. It is equipped with a timer for indicating one or more times which are relevant to the working of the compound. This timer can be triggered by the start and/or the end of the running of the device.
