  • Patent number: 5365144
Abstract: An electrical power supply unit for the supply of low power loads is provided with a capacitor constructed in the form of a flat piece, having a large cross-section and a small height perpendicular to the plane of the large cross-section. This provides a particularly compact construction, in particular when the capacitor and a transformer or choke coil arrangement are accommodated in a common housing, which also enables a correspondingly compact illuminating lamp to be realized.

  • Patent number: 5097404
Abstract: A supply circuit for supplying electronic devices with current or voltage and mountable as a module has input and output connections, a rectifier cirucit, a transformer having a primary winding coupled with the inputs of the supply circuit and a secondary winding coupled with the rectifier circuit and at least one high-capacity capacitor. The capacitor is coupled with an output of the rectifier circuit for smoothing generated direct current or direct voltage. The capacitor has a housing which housesd the capacitor, the rectifier circuit and the transformer in or on the housing. The input and output connections are arranged on the housing so as to be accessible from outside of the housing. At least a parat of the housing consists of a magnetizable material and carries the primary and secondary windings in the manner of a winding body.

  • Patent number: 4791332
Abstract: A rotor for a techo-generator having an integral, massive disk that is toothed at the outer circumference. The width of the grooves between the teeth is larger than the width of the teeth so that the rotor windings may be wound in one plane without any baffle plates, deflecting plates or the like.

  • Patent number: 4789778
Abstract: A light barrier system having a two-terminal network that is connected in series with a precision resistor. In normal operation, in this two-terminal system, two different potential drops occur, according to whether the light path between the light-emitting and the light-receiving elements of the light barrier arrangement is interrupted or not. Correspondingly, one input of a monitoring circuit is located at two different levels. In the event of a breakage of the supply lines or a short circuit of the light barrier system, the input is located at an extremely high or extremely low level.

  • Patent number: 4788463
Abstract: An electromagnetic brake having brake shoes which are mounted immobile in circumferential direction with respect to a shaft, but are movable in radial direction. The brake shoes interact with a concentric ring-shaped brake stator having a toroid coil and a magnetizable ring housing that force the brake shoes in a radial direction opposite that of a radial force produced by a spring connected to the brake shoes, centrifical force, or a permanent magnet.

  • Patent number: 4780655
Abstract: A drive and position sensor having a drive shaft for positioning a driven part and connected to a magnetic core by a reduction gear to position the core axially relative to a primary and secondary coil so that the voltage in the secondary coil is a measure of the position of the driven part.

  • Patent number: 4707601
Abstract: A signaller part (13) is coupled drivewise with a transmitting element (2), on the one hand by a force transmitting connection and on the other hand in a form-locked and slip-free manner via a transmission (5, 6, 8, 9, 10) which exhibits backlash. The transmission element (2) is compulsorily coupled with a machine part (4) the position of which is to be adjusted. As a result of its transmission ratio the transmission (5, 6, 8, 9, 10) only permits a reduced speed of the signaller part (13) relative to the transmitting element (2). When, after reaching the selected position, the machine part (4) attempts to move away from this position in a direction of movement which opposes the preceding adjustment movement, then the signaller part (13) is initially moved by and with the transmitting element at unreduced speed as a result of the backlash of the transmission, i.e. the departure from the selected position is indicated with increased accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4604537
Abstract: The stator of the tacho-generator is assembled of a pack of sheet steel lamellae defining an annular yoke portion and inwardly projecting poles for stator windings. The yoke portions of the pack are formed with an axially directed cutout for accommodating circuit elements of the tacho-generator.

  • Patent number: 4429242
Abstract: Disclosed is an adapter unit for converting a standard electrical motor into a variable-speed electrical motor. The pre-assembled unit includes a tachometric generator and a ventilating electrical motor driving a fan wheel. Both the generator and the ventilating motor with the wheel are arranged in a common adapter housing which is integrally formed with a tubular connecting piece directed radially to the driving shaft of the motor to be adapted and supporting on its outer end a terminal box. Connecting cables for the tachometric generator and for the ventilating electrical motor are guided through the connecting piece to the terminal box.
