    Abstract: A seat for vehicles, especially commercial vehicles, of which the cushion support is mounted on a swinging frame with two identically configured pairs of levers which intersect and pivot with each other, has on each side of the swinging frame at least one fastening point for a seat belt system. Pivot connections combined with a guide for each one running longitudinally along the seat connect the rear terminal segments of the rocking levers with the lower part and the upper part of the swinging frame. The rocking levers extending from the upper part of the swinging frame obliquely forward and downward are embodied with a diminished carrying capacity as compared with the other rocking levers.
