  • Patent number: 5293685
Abstract: A tappet for slide valves, in particular for pneumatic multi-way valves, is generally made of steel and has a basic cylindrical shape with control segments located on the basic cylindrical shape and with smaller-diameter intermediate segments, whereby control edges are formed at the transitions between the segments. To be able to manufacture a lightweight tappet using more economical methods, the tappet body is made of plastic and is hollow all the way through, the outer control segments and the smaller-diameter segments between the outer control segments have wall thicknesses which are equal for each type of segment, and the plastic comprise polyoxymethylene or polyamide with a proportion of fillers.

  • Patent number: 5054517
Abstract: A one-way restrictor is provided which is configured like a lip valve and includes a bypass flow channel. The bypass flow channel is formed by an at least one opening which is located between an intake and an outlet and can be covered, at least partially, by the sealing element of the valve. By way of a control member the sealing element can be moved relative to the opening in such a way that the cross-section of the opening covered by the sealing element can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 4491155
Abstract: A multiway slide valve having a housing provided with a graduated cylindrical guide bore, a pressure inlet port, and a pair of pressure outlets ports. A preassembled valve seat unit including a plurality of annular spacers which carry sealing rings having respective diameters corresponding to the graduations of the guide bore so that damage to the sealing rings is prevented when inserted into the graduated cylindrical guide bore. A slide spool and jacket inserted into the guide bore. A cover attached to the housing for depressing the jacket which causes deformation of the sealing rings to provide a tight seal between the graduations of the guide bore and the slide spool.

  • Patent number: 4401293
Abstract: An arrangement wherein fluid pressure passageways opening into inner chambers of a cylindrical housing of a valve device, are formed between abutting faces of two axially aligned cylindrical portions comprising the housing. The opening or passageway between the abutting faces is formed by complementarily engaging saw-like teeth formed around the annular abutting faces of the two housing portions. This arrangement provides a smoother surface over which the sealing gasket on a valve member must ride, thus resulting in less wear and tear on the gasket.
