    Abstract: A safety spectacles against laser radiation has a first frame part which is of integral construction and in which shields are integrated, which cover the area between the frame and the spectacle-wearer's face. This frame part is also drawn over the spectacle-wearer's temple area and forms temple plates. Fitted pivotably to these temple plates are side arms which are each integrated in a further plate which forms the continuation of the associated temple plate.

    Abstract: It is proposed to embed in a saddle-shaped spectacle bridge made of silicone and provided with two wings, a cross member connecting the wings, respectively one spectacle rim groove in the frontal external longitudinal zone of the wings--the groove having a bottom surface and a rear surface which is approximately vertical thereto--and with a fastening hole which is provided in the cross member from the front thereof a metal spring, whose cross-section extends in the shape of a bell, with the cross piece thereof in the cross head and to provide the two legs thereof, which have a curvature to the outside, in a wing each as a ridge, the untensioned position of the spring having a greater dimension of expansion than corresponds to the position of use of the saddle-shaped bridge and the spring being arranged behind the groove.

    Abstract: The end of a spectacle frame sidepiece has a metallic tang with a flat profile in the hard bending direction. A thin hard synthetic plastic sleeve surrounds the flat profile. The sleeve has a small, integrally-extending, apertured plate. A sheath of injection-moulded silicone rubber (Shore-D hardness 10-30 according to DIN 53505), surrounds the sleeve, the plate and the tang and extends as far as the end face of the sheath. Through-passing holes are provided at intervals on opposite, wider, side walls of the sleeve, and the sheath material engages in these holes.
