Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of methylthiocyclopropylamino-tert.-butylamino-1,3,5-triazine (Mctt) as a microbicidal agent for the treatment of concrete roof tiles.

Abstract: Triazolidino-pyridazine-diones of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which n represents an integer which is 1 or above, preferably the integers 1, 2 or 3,R.sub.1 is n-valent organic radical andR.sub.2 is hydrogen or the methyl group,their preparation by reacting pyridazine-diones of the formula (II) ##STR2## with primary amines of the formula (III)(H.sub.2 N).sub.n --R.sub.1 (III)and formaldehyde, n, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 being defined as in formula (I) above,as well as their use as fungicidal and bactericidal agents.

Abstract: When reacting a dyestuff having hydroxy, acyloxy, carboxy or carbalkoxy groups with a polyester derived from terephthalic and/or isophthalic acid and, per mol of dicarboxylic acid, about 0.75 to 1.5 mol of a low-molecular alkanetriol with primary alcohol groups (methylol groups) or, instead of said polyester, with the corresponding starting materials or precondensates, a polyester with chemically linked dyestuff units is obtained which is useful for dyeing plastics, especially polyolefins. The dyed plastic materials are heat resistant, even when containing fluorescent dyestuff units, transparent and uniformly dyed.

Abstract: Melamine-formaldehyde resins of high transparency, good light fastness and low solubility are prepared from heavily N-oxymethylated melamines highly etherified with C.sub.1 to C.sub.2 alkyl, by vented kneading in liquid form at 120.degree.-160.degree. C followed by curing, all without local overheating and without the application of kneading pressure to solidified resin. A self-cleaning kneader is used and the resin that is produced is highly suited for carrying fluorescent dyes and the like.
