  • Patent number: 9149756
Abstract: A device for adsorption treatment of a fluid or fluid stream, comprising a container for receiving adsorber material, wherein the container has a fluid inlet opening and a fluid outlet opening, and two fluid connection devices, wherein one of the fluid connection devices is provided at the fluid inlet opening and the other one of the fluid connection devices is provided at the fluid outlet opening, wherein the fluid connection devices are locked in a fluid-tight manner and are designed in such a way that they can each be connected to a fluid line connector and unlocked and, if they are connected to the respective fluid line connector they can be unlocked or are unlocked.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 13, 2011
Date of Patent: October 6, 2015
    Assignee: Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH
Inventors: Hans-Georg Anfang, Christian Hamel, Norbert Modl
  • Patent number: 8679584
Abstract: A method for partially coating a shaped body, the surface of which comprises an area to be coated and an area to be left clear, wherein with the method a protective layer is applied to the area to be left clear, a layer comprising a fluid phase is applied to the surface, and the coated shaped body is heated to a temperature at which the protective layer is removed residue-free by pyrolysis.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 18, 2008
Date of Patent: March 25, 2014
    Assignee: Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH
    Inventors: Hans-Georg Anfang, Thomas Speyer
  • Patent number: 8658321
Abstract: A method for producing a substantially desulfurized a hydrocarbon fuel stream at temperatures less than 100° C. The method includes providing a nondesulfurized fuel cell hydrocarbon fuel stream that may include water and passing the fuel stream sequentially through a zeolite Y adsorbent and a selective sulfur adsorbent. The zeolite Y adsorbent may be exchanged with copper ions. The method produces a substantially desulfurized hydrocarbon fuel stream containing less than 50 ppb sulfur.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 20, 2012
Date of Patent: February 25, 2014
    Assignee: Clariant Corporation
