  • Patent number: 10456797
Abstract: The invention relates to a portable spray apparatus having a carrier frame, a blower and a storage vessel for a medium to be discharged. An upper unit with the storage vessel and a lower unit with the blower are retained on the carrier frame. The two units are located in the vertical direction of the carrier frame at a spacing (z) from each other. The spacing (z) is selected so that a movement gap is formed between the upper unit and the lower unit. To limit the resilient deflection of the upper unit, there is arranged on one of the units a damping stop which limits the movement gap and damps a resilient deflection of the upper unit by abutment of the damping stop on the other one of the units.

  • Patent number: 9878338
Abstract: A backpack sprayer has a carrying arrangement, on which a container for spraying agent is arranged. The container has a filling opening which can be closed by way of a lid. The carrying arrangement has a set-down position, in which the carrying arrangement is set down on a planar, horizontal set-down surface. The spraying agent region of the container is the region which is provided for spraying agent and extends as far as a maximum permissible filling height (max). The spraying agent region has a greatest horizontal inner cross-sectional area (A) in the set-down position. In order to allow simple filling of spraying agent and simple cleaning of the container, it is provided that the container can be opened at the filling opening over at least 60% of its greatest inner cross-sectional area (A).

  • Patent number: 7673813
Abstract: A portable spray apparatus (1) is provided to selectively discharge liquid spray medium and solid dust medium with a blower airflow (7) generated by a blower (6). An adaptor (8) is provided which has at least a channel section (9) of a liquids channel (10) for the liquid spray medium and a channel section (11) of a solids channel (12) for the solid dust medium. The adaptor (8) is releasably connected to a supply vessel (4). The liquids channel (10) and the solids channel (12) open into the blower airflow (7). Various built-in positions of the supply vessel (4) and of the adaptor (8) are freely selectable relative to each other and to the blower unit (3) by the operator. In one built-in position, the liquids channel (10) is connected via its channel section (9) to an interior space (13) of the supply vessel (4) and, in another built-in position, the solids channel (12) is connected to this interior space (13) via the channel section (11) thereof.

  • Patent number: 6062177
Abstract: A hand-guided working tool has a housing and an internal combustion engine arranged in the housing. The internal combustion engine has a cylinder, a crankshaft, and a crankcase enclosing the crankshaft. An air filter box including an air filter element is connected to the internal combustion engine. A tool is driven by the crankshaft. The housing has a blower chamber with a cooling air inlet, at least one combustion air inlet, and a combustion air outlet. A combustion air channel connects the combustion air outlet to the air filter box. A blower, driven by the crank shaft and arranged in the blower chamber, is provided for taking in cooling air through the cooling air inlet and supplying the cooling air to the internal combustion engine and for taking in combustion air through the at least one combustion air inlet and guiding the combustion air through the combustion air outlet, the combustion air channel, and the air filter box to the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 6000519
Abstract: The invention is directed to a centrifugal clutch having centrifugal weights wherein each weight has an arc-shaped clutch shoe and is pivotally mounted with a lever foot on a carrier disc on the drive end of the clutch. After reaching a specific rpm, the clutch shoes are pressed under the action of centrifugal force against the inner wall surface of a clutch drum for providing friction-tight torque transmission. The clutch drum surrounds the clutch shoes. The centrifugal clutch includes a carrier disc on which the centrifugal weights are pivotally mounted. A cover disc is held axially tight at the sides of the centrifugal weights which lie opposite the carrier disc. This cover disc radially covers the clutch shoes so that axial guide play is provided. In this way, wear of the clutch weights caused by operation is reduced especially in the bearing regions of the centrifugal weights.
