  • Patent number: 10112372
Abstract: A device for producing composite sheets, in particular laminated glass plates, is proposed, comprising: an evacuating device (1), a vacuum-tight transporting surface (16) for conveying the sheets (6, 19, 20) to be laminated into the evacuating device and for conveying the sheets out of the evacuating device, and a vacuum-tight release sheet (14) that is transported along with the transporting surface, wherein the sheets to be laminated are placed between the transporting surface and the release sheet, characterized in that a seal (5) that runs around the sheets, is transported along with them and can be released is provided on the transporting surface and/or on the release sheet and allows an evacuation of the space between the transporting surface and the release sheet and thus allows a vacuum bag (18) containing the sheets to be formed in the evacuating device. A corresponding method and a corresponding vacuum bag (18) are likewise disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7624780
Abstract: The inventive laminator for laminating structural components, in particular solar module cells or laminated glass panes by combining pressing force and heat, wherein said laminator comprises at least one laminating chamber for receiving one or several structural components, which is provided with a support for said structural components, a heating unit and with a flexible compression membrane which is sealingly stretched in the chamber above the structural element support and is movable with respect thereto. Said membrane separates a lower part of the chamber from a top part thereof, thereby enabling each part to be void of air and aerated. The inventive laminator is characterised in that the copression membrane is embodied in the form of a multiple membrane consisting of a plurality of superimposed membranes.

  • Publication number: 20090056855
Abstract: A pressure membrane, a method and a laminator for laminating components, in particular solar cell modules or laminated glass plates, through the combined application of pressure and heat. The laminator includes at least one laminating chamber that accommodates one or more component stacks, the chamber having a component support and at least one heating device. Each heating device is made up of at least one heating element. At least one elastic and/or flexible pressure membrane is clamped in pressure-tight fashion in the chamber above the component support and is movable relative thereto. The pressure membrane divides a lower chamber part from an upper chamber part. At least the lower chamber part is capable of being sealed in airtight fashion and is capable of being evacuated and ventilated. The at least one heating element is provided integrally with the pressure membrane.

  • Publication number: 20070000826
Abstract: A membrane press including at least one holding frame, wherein a membrane is, at its peripheral region, located on and removed from the holding frame by holding elements, wherein the holding elements are designed such that the membrane is located thereon and removed therefrom without any tools. A first membrane press has holding elements designed with two clamping surfaces in the manner of a claw, wherein a clamping bolt is assigned to the clamping surfaces so that the membrane is located in a force-locking manner, wherein the membrane is clamped between the clamping bolt and one of the clamping surfaces. A second membrane press includes a holding element designed in a buckle-like manner in the form of one of a buckle lock, a clamping lock, a spring clip, a sliding web lock, an eccentric lock and a belt clamp.
