  • Patent number: 6773498
Abstract: Bright noble metal preparations for the production of bright noble metal decoration contain at least one noble metal compound and at least one non-noble metal as flux dissolved in a carrier medium. Preparations according to the invention, which are stoved at 1050 to 1300° C., contain as flux at least one cobalt compound in a quantity of 0.3 to 1.0 wt. %, calculated as CoO, and a chromium compound in a quantity of 0.2 to 0.7 wt. %, calculated as Cr2O3. The ratio by weight of Cr2O3 to CoO is in the range from 1.0-2.3.

  • Patent number: 4399670
Abstract: There is provided a novel system for increasing the accuracy and delivery speed of weft thread insertion in warp knitting machines. The system includes a novel transport arrangement for providing magazine weft threads proximate to the needle bar and a knockover sinker bar whose knockover sinkers are operable to pass between the needle spaces to grip the weft thread. The system is most suitably employed in a warp knitting machine producing a fabric containing an intermediate layer such as a non-woven fabric overlayed with weft threads. This machine comprises a needle bar, at least one guide bar and an arrangement for providing the intermediate layer between the needles and the guide bar.

  • Patent number: 4356802
Abstract: A valve system for regulating the idling speed of Otto engines, particularly automobile engines, by controlling the amount of air on an outlet side with an electromechanical setting member which comprises a valve element which limits the effective outlet cross section, the valve element being moveable by an electric drive member and being in communication on one side with the outlet side, and having a circuit which controls the setting member as a function of the speed of rotation. The valve element is mounted substantially free of friction and means are provided for exerting on the valve element a compensating force which opposes the force caused by the suction vacuum.
