  • Publication number: 20230114996
Abstract: An automotive solid-state headlamp includes a lamp body extending in a longitudinal direction, the lamp body having a rear base portion and a front portion and including a support member and a light-transmissive housing, a plurality of solid-state light sources arranged on the support member at the rear base portion of the lamp body, a drive circuitry electrically coupled to the light sources and arranged at the rear base portion of the lamp body and configured to operate the plurality of light sources when energized and reflector optics arranged at the front portion, wherein the solid-state light sources are configured to emit light towards the reflector optics, the reflector optics including a first reflector optic portion and a second reflector optic portion and wherein each of a plurality of first reflective surfaces disposed on the first reflector optic portion extend in an annular region around the longitudinal direction from the plurality of solid-state light sources towards the first reflector optic p

  • Patent number: 5732944
Abstract: The actual position of a leading edge of a transversely folded signature is detected. This actual position detection event is used to trigger an instantaneous measurement of the actual angular position of the gripper system used for receiving the signature. If the leading edge of the signature is predicted to arrive at the gripper system of the receiving cylinder at other than the appropriate time, the speed of the receiving cylinder is corrected.

  • Patent number: 5636581
Abstract: Fluid-cooled grate bars and grates for use in a combustion furnace such as a garbage incineration plant and a process for cooling the grate bars and grates. The grate bar has a duct defined therewithin for guiding a coolant supplied by a fluid-cooling apparatus. The primary coolant is preferably water. Steam formation is prevented by pressurizing the water. Additional or replacement coolant such, for example, as air may be employed for the grate bars and grates.

  • Patent number: 4093206
Abstract: Folding device for roller rotating printing presses for folding a prefolded pack of sheets which is fed by a pair of endless conveyor belts underneath a folding knife in parallel direction of its feeding movement wherein at the arriving end and on both sides of the folding knife, a finger is moved into the feeding path of the pack of sheets so as to engage an advancing front edge of the pack of sheets. The finger is forcibly moved into rotation by a shaft which runs laterally beneath the endless conveyor belts whereby the rotation moves the finger in a working cycle above the lower plane of the endless conveyor belts and the finger runs slowly in direction of the feeding motion, but more slowly than the same.
