  • Patent number: 7740478
Abstract: An applicator for dental compounds includes a shaft, the front end of which can be connected with the aid of a fastening device to a syringe containing the dental compound, and a plunger. The shaft contains a ram for advancing the plunger. The fastening device has an inner sleeve, attached to the shaft, and an outer sleeve, attached on the inner sleeve rotatably with respect to it. The inner sleeve is substantially cylindrical and has such a cavity that its cross section is substantially U-shaped. Clamping takes place as a result of eccentricity.

  • Patent number: 7383969
Abstract: A device for mixing and dispensing multi-component compositions employs a cap. The cap acts as a closure initially to close the outlet openings of the components and can be moved into the open position by pressure of the components while they are being discharged, so that the components can be mixed by the mixing helix and emerge from the outlet tube. The device also includes a distribution structure that may be a fitted onto or an integral part of the outlet tube.

  • Patent number: 6932237
Abstract: The device for generating a multi-component compound, in particular for dental purposes, by pressing out and mixing its components from cartridges (5), which open into a mixer (10), is characterized in that the advance speed of the motor (15) is regulated by the pressing-out behaviour of the components, which pressing-out behaviour can be determined by sensors (III-VIII).

  • Patent number: 6846300
Abstract: The multi-component mixing capsule with dispensing device has a container part in which a component can be accommodated. A further component is arranged in a piston which is sealed at one end by a foil disk and a holed disk. At the other end, the piston is sealed by a ram which, in a first operating step, forces the liquid component from the piston into the mixing space of the container part and, in a second operating step, also forces the piston downward so that the mixed compound can emerge from the dispensing device.

  • Patent number: 6824016
Abstract: System for the release of equal proportions of two flowable substances having two syringes, of which at least one is also used alone or in combination with other syringes, especially for dental purposes. In order to enable the connected syringes to be used irrespective of the current piston position, detachable devices for coupling the syringe bodies and devices for coupling the syringe pistons, irrespective of their current position, are provided.

  • Patent number: 6540395
Abstract: The subject of the invention is a dynamic mixer for viscous compositions, in particular for components for dental impression compounds. The mixer consists of a mixer tube, a rotor located in the latter, and an end wall with inlet openings through which the components to be mixed pass into the mixer. In doing so, they first alternately fill chambers arranged on the rotor. The composition then flows out of the chambers through admission openings into the mixing channel, where it can be stirred by mixer blades.

  • Patent number: 6530685
Abstract: Arrangement for mixing multi-component compositions, in particular for dental purposes, comprising a component-extruding device with outlet openings (16, 17) assigned to the components and a mixer (11), the inlet openings of which can be connected to the outlet openings (16, 17) of the extruding device. The inlet and outlet openings of these two parts are enclosed by complementary guiding surfaces of the two parts. They open out diametrically in mutually opposite surface portions of the guiding surfaces. As a result, the compressive forces acting in the region of the inlet and outlet openings on both sides cancel one another out, so that a sealed connection can be ensured even without great structural expenditure.

  • Patent number: 6500001
Abstract: Device for dispensing multi-component compounds, in particular for dental purposes. It is equipped with a timer for indicating one or more times which are relevant to the working of the compound. This timer can be triggered by the start and/or the end of the running of the device.

  • Patent number: 6315164
Abstract: Method and device for generating a multi-component compound, in particular for dental purposes, by pressing its components out from exchangeable cartridges (5) which are arranged alongside one another and open into a mixer (10). To ensure that the mixing quality is not adversely affected by the advance speed differing depending on viscosity and friction ratios, the advance speed is constantly kept at a predetermined value according to the invention. This is preferably achieved by means of a unit (30) which is assigned to the drive motor (15). This unit (30) can also be used for driving the motor, depending on the load, either at a low speed assigned to the normal advance or at a higher speed assigned to the return movement.

  • Patent number: 6311869
Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing a mixed multi-component compound, in particular for dental purposes. The adjacent outlet connection stubs of the component-containing containers bear a coupling plate on the end sides for the purpose of connecting a mixing nozzle. Said coupling plate forms a guide, running transversely to the direction of the outlet connection stubs, for a coupling slide with a coupling element which engages over a coupling flange provided on the mixing nozzle. The slide is in the form of a frame and is arranged permanently on the coupling plate.
