Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of flushing peripheral organs in humans and animals. The apparatus is e.g. particularly useful for cleaning contaminated wounds caused e.g. by fall accidents. Basically, the apparatus consists of a flexible bag (7) in the form of a reservoir containing liquid that may be pressurized. A pulsator (9), e.g., is connected with the reservoir (7) via a hose (10), and this pulsator is adapted to pulsate the liquid flow in the hose (10), which is connected with the hand-held unit (11) from the pulsator, said hand-held unit comprising a flow control (12, 28) capable of controlling the amount of liquid through the hose (10). The hand-held unit is terminated by a nozzle (13) which may be surrounded by a protective shield (14). In operation, the nozzle (13) is directed toward an organ in a human or an animal, e.g. an organ with a wound. The flow control (12, 28) allows a liquid flow which is dispensed in a pulsating shape through the nozzle (13).

Abstract: A device for composing and arranging music comprising a sensor part and a plurality of blocks which may be releasably connected to the sensor part. A distribution of blocks, each belonging to one of a number of sub-populations of blocks on the sensor part, represents a composition or arrangement comprising musical features being dependant upon the sub-population(s) and the position of the block(s). Further, a device for building an instrument using blocks having activating means for activating the musical features of the block(s). The device may be used as an educational toy being easy to use for e.g. children. The device may be connected to a computer and to a global computer network so as to enable the device to communicate with other similar devices.

Abstract: The invention relates to an implantable stimulator electrode for stimulation of nerves adapted to be surgically implanted around a nerve bundle, said stimulator comprising one or more electrode means which, when implanted around said nerve bundle, surrounds the nerve bundle totally or partly. Electrode means and electronic circuit means are coupled to and powered by one or more receiving coils mounted on the stimulator housing. One advantage of the invention is that the electrode, when implanted, acts as a remote addressable maintenance free unit.
